Villa Gilia A is a characteristic and welcoming two-story apartment that is part of a villa surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps four people. From Villa Gilia A you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills and of the greenery. Villa Gilia A is 75 square meters (810 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private patio, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 8 km (5 miles) from Certaldo, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest restaurant and a grocery store at 1 km (roughly 1100 yards).
Villa Gilia A is located on the ground floor. You will reach it from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Gilia A you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space. The parking space is suitable for at most one car. The Gilia apartments are part of an elegant farmstead located in the heart of the Chianti region between Siena and Florence.


The complex offers 5 elegant apartments, a gorgeous Mediterranean-style swimming pool and a classic breathtaking Tuscan garden.


The apartments are placed in two buildings. Villa Gilia A, B, C and D are in the main villa, on the ground floor, each featuring a small private patio. Villa Gilia E is located into a former barn transformed into a characteristic country house.


As guests of the complex you will be able to take part, on request and for a fee, in wine tastings at the nearby family-owned farm.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 14 meters (46 feet) long. The area is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the end of April until mid-October.

Garden
The garden is 5000 square meters (54000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola and by tall trees. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy an incredible view of the Tuscan hills. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally). Parking
The parking area is shared with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.  Ground FloorLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, a small electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter a small patio through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
First FloorBedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the greenery. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
