Cozy home to enjoy on the rainy days and nights we spent there. I didn’t want to leave.

Amazing Aird Cottage

Had a lovely 4 days at the cottage. It is very remote, but worth the trip for the lovely views and cosy feel. Property was amazingly well stocked and everything had been thought of.

Perfect peaceful hideaway

Absolutely beautiful property, the ad doesn’t do it justice! Amazing views across the bay and up to the Quiraing. Great experience with owner and lovely perks like a coffee pod machine! Can’t fault it, we had a fabulous holiday.

Beautiful Skye

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aird cottage. The location was perfect for the sights around the Trotternish and the view from the cottage was delightful. The property was clean and well equipped and would definitely stay there again. It was a wonderful introduction room to a spectacular Island and I will be back!

Enchanting place

The cottage is extremely cozy with an enchanting and beautiful view no matter where you look. Peace and quietness is around, sheep and bunnies grazing at your door step. Super well located to explore the island and its trails. Thank you, Elma, for sharing this marvelous place with us!

Great cottage on Isle of Skye! You will miss The view over The sea to Harris, The nature, The rabbits in The Garden. Beautiful! Bathroom, 2 sleeping rooms, utility room, living room and Kitchen. Great!!

absolutely gorgeous property

I don't know where to start, and honestly I'm afraid to say how much we loved our stay at Aird Cottage, as it may not be available for when we hope to return some time in the future. The views are magnificent, the cottage was clean and comfortable, and we experienced great communication with Elma. Our stay at Aird Cottage was perfect in every way, and can't think of a better place to stay at, to enjoy the beauty of the Isle Of Skye.

A beautiful cottage with a breathtaking view!!!

We spend a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. Elma is a very friendly host, and check-in was quick and easy. It was wonderful to wake up every morning with a sea view and to be woken by sheep and seagulls. The sights are easily accessible by car, and the nearest shops aren't far either. We felt very comfortable and would recommend this accommodation to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful week, and we will definitely come back.

Fairy-tale cottage at the end of the world

Wonderfully located cottage offering amazing views of the sea and Quiraing. Enjoying morning coffee/tea at terrace/lobby looking at sunrise is wonderful experience. Elma (host) is very helpful - disclosing all information you may possible need. On the ground floor you will find fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath/shower and lovely living room with log burner + lobby and terrace. Upper floor offers 2 cosy bedrooms with very comfy beds perfectly suited for restful nights after long hikes.

Stunning Location

We had a wonderful two week stay in Aird Cottage. The location couldn’t have been better with stunning views across the bay to the mountains in the distance. We were surrounded by wildlife and of course the sheep and rabbits. The cottage was everything we could have wished for, clean, tidy with everything we needed for our stay. The sun lounge was our favourite room, we spent many hours gazing out at the ever changing scenery. Perfect in every way. Thank you.

What a joy of a place to visit!

Staying at Aird cottage was a truly wonderful experience. There are views to the east the south and the west that change minute by minute, never mind day by day. The cottage self is a joy, comfortable and very well insulated. It is a really practical kitchen, if you like to do your own cooking, and an excellent utility room. The bedrooms are comfortable too but what really sad the cottage apart are the wonderful, wonderful views. There is plenty to do on Skye, whether walking, visiting historical sites, or enjoying some of the wide range of restaurants. However, even if your priority is simply resting, relaxing and enjoying the natural environment I think that you absolutely could not do better. Many thanks!

Sun room is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.The water pressure is amazing, so the shower is brilliant.It’s very remote, so be prepared to spend a lot of time driving, especially if you want to go to the Fairy Pools, Neist Point, Dunvegan etc. Saying that though, the Trotternish peninsula is beautiful, and Old Man of Storr is a short drive.

Ein magischer Ort

Aird cottage liegt wunderschön ruhig an der Kilmaluag Bay inmitten von Schafweiden. Das Haus ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, vom Wintergarten kann man die traumhaften Sonnenaufgänge, die Berge des Quiraing und die Bucht beobachten. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Küche ist mit neuen Geräten ausgestattet. Der separate Utility Roommit Waschmaschine, Trotz, Gefrierschrank etc.ist ebenfalls praktisch.

Wunderbar

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im Aird Cottage. Es ist alles in der Unterkunft vorhanden, fehlt an nichts, sauber, ordentlich, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der herrliche Ausblick, die ruhige Umgebung, super Wetter, Seerobben, Delphine ... einfach ein wunderschöner, unvergesslicher Urlaub. Vielen lieben Dank, wir werden oft an diese schöne Zeit zurück denken. Alles Gute für Elma und ihre Familie.
