Host communicated well and very timely if any responses needed. Several amenities provided, such as basic necessities for the kitchen and laundry. We would stay here again!
Soo many rooms and beds to fit several families. Saw a ton of bears which we thought was amazing. Host was so accommodating and responded very fast if there were any issues. Overall a gorgeous stay!!

Thank you!! So happy you enjoyed the Bears!! Look forward to hosting You again!
Knotty Lodge was the ideal vacation home for our large family. The lodge was huge, and just as beautiful as the pictures show. The mountain view was spectacular. It was impressively supplied with everything you need and more - plenty of games, movies, kitchen supplies, etc. We will be staying here again for our next family vacation in the Smokies.
This house was very accommodating for 17 of us. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. We did get bear visits, which I loved and the sunsets off the deck were beautiful. Along with the true Smoky Mountain glory. We were looking for a house book and didn't find one for info about where the pool was and things like that. Had trouble with the TV in the main living room also. Luckily I knew my Roku password. The drive up is fun to say the least!
I had a family vacation experience. We had 23 people and we had a wonderful time. We saw 8 bears during the time we were there. Actually that was the highlight of the trip for some of the younger ones. I would very much recommend this property!
The views from the cabin were exceptional. There are a lot of games and spaces for activities. Our family enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole, and pool. The kitchen was well equipped with two refrigerators and a pantry for storage of food and supplies. We also enjoyed the long table where every one could sit together.Cindy B.
We had our family reunion with 25 total people which included 19 teens and adults and 6 kids 8 and under. This home was a great space for all of us. We never felt crowded inside throughout our stay. Plenty of things to do in and around the home! Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals for a large group. Beautiful views! The one thing that surprised us was the number of bear sightings at the home. We saw lots of bears! We would highly recommend this place!
There were some issues when we first arrived, but Amy had them taken care of relatively quickly. The view is spectacular! however, the house needs some TLC... There were some lights that needed new blubs, my granddaughter found someone else's socks in her bed. The first night we stayed there, another granddaughter found someone's dirty clothes under her bed. Be aware that the bears will come to visit you daily, but they don't bother anyone they just walk around, looking for food and then walk away.

I am sorry to hear that the cleaners did not check under the bed! I will reach out to them now with a reminder of expectations. Thank you for staying with us!
The Knotty Lodge is large, well appointed and has the most amazing views. Amy very quickly responded to our questions and was a pleasure to communicate with. Would love to return to the Knotty Lodge again at some point, but there’s a big world out there we still need to explore. Thank you, Amy.
Beautiful view! 3 levels with lots of room for our group of 26!(12 adults, 14 children). Love the long dining table and benches! Love the large parking area(not on the road), like many of the houses up there. Very comfortable beds and clean! So much to do inside the house( ping pong, pool table, air hockey, theatre room, etc)
We had about 20 people of all ages for a multi-generational birthday gathering. The views were amazing with the "smoky" mountains frequently showing why they got their name with mist and clouds swirling between the trees and mountains around us.The cabin was well laid out with plenty of room for all of us to gather around the large table for meals and games when we wanted to but also find quiet spaces to relax and enjoy calm time when we wanted that.Location was good with about 20 minutes to river tubing in Townsend and about 35-45 minutes over to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for tourist time.3 Fridges gave plenty of room for groceries and a well equipped kitched worked for feeding the army. All in all a great value for what we wanted.
We found the cabin to be as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. Our host was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well appointed. We had plates, utensils and cooking pans for every meal we cooked. We had fifteen people in our group. The theater room was great, along with the air hockey table, for entertaining the grandkids. The location was breath taking, but, it was at least a 30 minute drive to get to most of the attractions. View was worth it!!
We stayed April 1 to 6, 2026. The lodge was clean and comfortable. There were 23 of us there for a family reunion and everyone had a bed. The bedroom situation was different than initially described, but there were even more beds than we expected. Beautiful mountain views from the cabin. It is about 1/2 hour from Pigeon Forge. Had a great time around the fire pit at night. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of room for dining. Fun things for the teens to do. We wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend this lodge to other large families.
We had an incredible stay at this mountain house and would absolutely come back. The views alone are worth it—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. The home itself is very well thought out and stocked with everything you could need. We really appreciated all the extra touches like toiletries, coffee, and condiments—it made settling in effortless and feel more like home than a rental. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings with the mountain views, and the game room was a huge hit for both adults and kids. There was always something to do, whether it was relaxing or having fun together. The proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was convenient. Overall, this place strikes a great balance between comfort, convenience, and experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mountain getaway.
