Downtown Port Royal/min to Sands Beach/Parris Island and Historic Beaufort

This Duplex is beautifully decorated and furnished with a guests comfort in mind. Located on a corner complete with its own entrance, porch and patio, this Duplex was designed and insulated so you never know the owner is next door. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to make a Thanksgiving dinner, including a Margarita Machine. The front porch encourages “front porch sitting” to watch the friendly neighbors go by.
This home is 2 bedroom 2.5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are located upstairs with their own on-suite. There is a TV in the living room as well as each Bedroom. The master has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. This home sleeps 6 as There is a sleeper in the living room

The Palmetto Moon Cottage is located in the Heart of Port Royal, a wonderful walking community. Close to water and a wonderful walking/biking trail

The host was very welcoming. We did have a repair and the host was extremely accommodating--prompt and we didn't have issues after that.Two things--the heat was very unevenly distributed; some rooms were extremely cold while others felt like a furnace! Also, the televisions were all but useless; there were big screen TV's in the two bedrooms but they were all but useless, as they only appeared to get local channels. The downstairs TV had MS Now blocked, unless you wanted yesterday's news.

Great place for our family! Very clean, well decorated and everything we needed. From the great coffee bar to the extra beach towels & chairs. We enjoyed walking to Sands beach each evening. As well as GiGi's Restaurant within walking which proved to have a good outdoor area for the kids. Would definitely return to Palmetto Moon if in the area again. Great location near historic Beaufort for local shopping.

Port Royal Cottage

Red Door Rental - Palmetto Moon Cottage

Marine Graduation

This is a perfect place to stay for Marine recruit graduation. Literally 5 minutes from the base . Great food and hospitality within a few blocks . Madison’s was our favorite for lunch . Thank you to the host for accommodating us and all the kids loved the game on the porch . Much appreciated host .

I built this Duplex in 2002 and originally rented this side long term. I turned it into the Palmetto Moon Cottage in 2006

I've stayed in my Palmetto Moon Cottage, after I turned it into a Vacation home, as I wanted to see if it had everything a guest could need. I live next door. I personally take care of all aspects of this Vacation Home and I believe it shows in all the small details.
