Wonderful house and property for larger families to gather, stay and make fun memories! They have thought of everything! Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms and a great floor plan. Was a perfect place to stay as we celebrated a grandson’s wedding and our 50th anniversary! Morning coffee and sunsets on the deck were a delight! Excellent communication with owner. Highly recommend!

The home is beautiful in a wooded property with an awesome view.The deck and chairs were perfect for early morning coffee and quiet reflection. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to cook great family meals. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and the towels and shower amenities ample. We’d gladly stay here again and finish another jigsaw puzzle!Thank you for opening your home !

This was a great home for our family reunion. The huge living room and dining area were well used. We were particularly happy that the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and utensils. The home has a small A/C unit that had a hard time keeping up during the day (not surprising given the 90F day temperatures). But, the house cooled off nicely each night by opening the screened windows.

Perfect place for a family get together. Slept 10 easily. Nice view from the deck and secluded. With the Sandpoint music festival on there is more than a few things to do in the area.

Absolutely Perfect Cabin!

Relaxing and beautiful cabin nestled among the trees. What a view from the living room and downstairs family room where we played pool , fuss ball and endless games. There was plenty of room for the adults and kids and the kitchen was well equipped. Ky was a great host and we are already planning to come back this summer. Cedar View Lodge is a gem.

Great family vacation

What a beautiful house to accommodate a large group. The house has wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Lots of space for family with main living area and downstairs family room and game room. We loved the deck - perfect place for morning coffee and sunsets. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so could not use the outside fire pit. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable.

This cabin was in a great location to unplug and enjoy the beautiful views and peace and quiet! I do have to mention that I mistakenly assumed it had air conditioning, I should have noticed it wasn’t an amenity on the listing. Even with opening up the house at night, using the extra floor fans to cool off the house overnight, then closing it up in the morning (like we do in our home) the house got up to 85F on the main floor. Thankfully the bottom floor was cooler and we could enjoy the fun games and the second living room when it go too hot in the rest of the house. I would like to add that there isn’t a hand rail at the base of the stairs going up to the primary bedroom which is on the top floor. My family had a hard time getting up and down the stairs due to stability issues requiring something to hold on to. All in all the house is in a great location, has a wonderful setup for a large family gathering, and if it was during cooler weather I’d definitely recommend renting it :)

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Well stocked kitchen, lots of bedrooms, and owner communicated quickly. The deck was really nice and lots of seating for meal time. Super comfortable couches and chairs for relaxing in the evening and talking with family or playing games. Well stocked with lots of puzzles and kids games and toys. We loved playing pool in the evenings in the basement where it was cooler. Nice washer and dryer with lots of laundry detergent. Nice body wash, shampoo and conditioners. The bathrooms were all quite large and nice. We had a lovely family reunion here. A couple things to note.Note 1: there is no central air conditioning. They did have a small ac unit hooked up in the family room. It kept the family room from being uncontrollably hot. The basement did stay cool. The upstairs master bedroom got pretty hot during the day. We had 85 degree weather. At night it cooled down but the smoke was super intense so letting the air in at night to cool things down smelled like a campfire. We had to choose to either be hot or smell smoke all night.Note 2: During the summer months the owner doesn’t allow use of the fire pit. Overall, a great stay!

Everything you need!

This cabin was the perfect getaway for siblings to meet and enjoy time together. The house, especially the kitchen, was well stocked and had everything we needed. Directions to the house need to be updated as that was a bit of a challenge. My daughter insisted on trying out the jet tub (I assumed it was probably rarely used and dirty) but we let her try and when she turned on the jets there was a ton of black mold that came out. Otherwise the house was clean and well stocked and we were all able to sleep comfortably and everyone had a bed. The kids were able to ply downstairs and the adults were able to hang upstairs.

Room for Everyone (including uninvited guests)

The views are stunning. The house is well appointed. The location is great for Silverwood and lake access. Just a couple of things should have been done before guests arrived. The house was dirty. There were ants in the kitchen when we arrived. One guest was awakened in the night with a mouse in the bed. A good cleaning crew and pest control and this house would be perfect.
