We had a holiday weekend getaway and couldn't be more pleased with the location, amenities and graciousness of our hosts, who made us feel welcomed. Thank you Ashley for the great communication and welcome treats. Will highly recommend folks stay at Rodney House when visiting Lewes!
We had an excellent stay at the Rodney house!! The history of the house is amazing, and the location was unbeatable - walking distance to beach and right on the main strip. We were able to find free parking a few blocks away that made things very easy!
This was our second stay at the Rodney House and it once again proved to be the perfect spot for our Lewes getaway. Clean, spacious, comfortable and perfectly located, the Rodney House is an ideal home base for exploring all the area has to offer. Can’t wait to visit again!
The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to be very accommodating. We had a great stay at their house. It was located at a perfect place too!
Loved the location in Lewes to explore the area! Lots of history, shops & restaurants walking distance from the property. Host was very responsive to communications & the check in/out process was easy!

Everything about this property was great! The owners, the cleanliness, the place itself, and they even had beer in the fridge when we arrived. 10 out of 10!

The Rodney House was so comfy, so welcoming, and perfectly located. There were also a number of "little things" that really added to the experience: snacks in kitchen, local beers in the fridge, and a carafe of cold water in the bedroom. We'd been to Lewes plenty of times before, but this is the first time we stayed in town, and the Rodney House provided a great home base.
Highly Recommend!
Historic, charming, convenient property to all things Lewes!

Perfect location in the heart of historic Lewes. Restaurants, stores, the museum, and lovely St. Peter's church are all an easy stroll from your doorstep. The apartment was flawlessly renovated to provide luxurious, modern comfort without compromising the building's historic charms, such as the exposed original brickwork and rafters. Thoughtful, welcoming touches are everywhere, from the plentiful books and treats, to the towels folded to look like entwined swans, to the local beers in the fridge. It was a delight to stay at the Rodney House. We will definitely return!
It was absolutely perfect! We loved it and it met our needs in every way. Loved the location and the whole unit in general. Loved the living area and the little office nook, kitchen, and the bedroom. Bathroom was great, too.
This is a great apartment, in a great location. Spacious, well-designed, and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything you need, and provided so many welcoming details.
