Fabulous stay

Great location and fabulous accommodation. So many wonderful walks literally on the doorstep. Wildlife everywhere, Jays, hawks, songbirds, squirrels etc.

Lovely weather for our stay at Aonach

Comfortable accommodation that met all our needs. Enjoyed visits from the patridge and his mate, squirrels, finches, woodpeckers, hares. Great location. Beautiful weather was a lovely bonus.

Lovely cottage. Very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting with plenty of local walks. A number of great places to visit just a short drive away including the steam railway at Aviemore, the Wildlife Park and The Heritage Centre. Excellent communications with the hosts.

The kids want to move in!

This cottage provided everything we needed for a lovely relaxing week. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings helped too! We enjoyed it so much we’ve already booked for next year.

Comfortable and spacious

Lovely welcome surprise and so much fun watching the local wildlife. Quiet location, yet very central for all the delights the cairngorms and speyside have to offer. Well appointed too. Loved our week here.

Great location, comfortable house

Great location, tranquil but not isolated. Many varied walks from the door allowed us to avoid using the car. Perfect if you are interested in wildlife as there were plenty of birds visiting the garden, not to mention red squirrels.

Very pet friendly, the dogs love watching the squirrels and birds out of the window. We bought bird food to feed the birds and it’s worth it to see them all. Instructions in the cottage v clear. We have been before and the walks in the area are v good and it didn’t disappoint.

Fatastic property in a relaxing location

Property was confortable and had everything you need, one of the best locations we have stayed for wildlife. Opened the curtains every morning to so red deer, red squirrels, spotted woodpecker and lots of birds. Lots of nice walking routes from the property as well. We will definitely be returning to this holiday let cannot rate this property highly enough, amazing time had by the whole family.

A little gem

The property was located in the most peaceful, picturesque and friendly village. Loved taking the dogs for walks straight from the front door. The cottage was homely, warm and had everything we needed and a nice welcome pack

Lovely location with wildlife all around

Lovely location we saw squirrels, hares and large flocks of garden birds from the living room Nice walking from the door into forests and moorland. Bilberries, Raspberries, Lingonberry and crowberries ready for picking all around. Easy access by car to Highland wildlife park, Reindeer on Cairngorms great zip wires in Alvie estate.

A very nice place to chill out

The house is located in a very beautiful place. Very clean with all the facilities, spacious bedrooms and kitchen/ living room. We weren’t lucky to see all the wildlife except the birds and the company of the red squirrel. We spent a lovely week with our friends and we had the access to beautiful landscapes and day trips around the area. Highly recommended.”

Sublime

An absolute gem of a place if you like peace, biking endlessly from the door and fabulous wildlife. There’s plenty to do in the wider area, but we only got in our van once (paddle boarding on nearby loch Insh) with so much biking access to Glen Feshie and it’s surrounding area. The owner was incredibly responsive and great to deal with too. Already booked to return.
