Barnyards is a large, charming, self catering, holiday house located next to Chesterstone Farm. It was renovated in 2011 to ensure a high standard of holiday accommodation, from an old cart shed and is ideal for families with older children and groups holidaying together. It is suitable for disabled people with level access, wide doorways, a downstairs bedroom and wet room with disability aids which can be moved to any room in the house. In the spacious garden there is a seven seat hot tub and plenty of garden furniture. It has Calor Gas central heating. The accommodation which sleeps eight on two levels comprises: Downstairs: Large, spacious lounge with patio doors leading out to a terrace, with patio furniture, over looking Largo Bay, 50” television, DVD player, Xbox Kinetic and surround sound system, leather furniture and a selection of books and games. Extensive modern kitchen/dining room, well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, built in dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and wine cooler. Further twin bedroom/sitting room with 22” TV. Wet room with WC, bidet, basin and shower. Upstairs: Large landing with access to 3 bedrooms and bathroom. Spacious master bedroom (king size bed) with en-suite shower room, two further twin bedrooms – all with quality beds, wardrobes and chests of drawers. Bed linen, towels and robes provided. Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC.
Barnyards is situated just outside the village of Upper Largo, gateway to the East Neuk of Fife. Situated on a working farm at the foot of Largo Law we have beautiful scenery over looking Largo Bay, Elie Point and beyond. On a clear day from the farm you will see the magnificent coast line view across the Firth of Forth, from Edinburgh round to St. Abbs Head. We are in a wonderful, peaceful spot to relax and watch the world go by but if you are feeling energetic then take a walk up Largo Law, or along Largo beach and then relax in the ambient temperature of your own private hot tub. The area is famous for its attractive rugged coastline and sandy beaches, its picturesque fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife and the historical town of St Andrews. We have more than 20 golf courses within a 10 mile radius and a wealth of opportunity for outdoor pursuits and family activities. There is an abundance of high class eating houses in the area including an award winning fish and chip shop and a Michelin star restaurant.
