Braid Cottage was terrific. Perfect for our group of 7! The host, Hilary, was the best and her homemade sourdough bread, shortbread and strawberry preserves was amazing! Hopefully, we will get a chance to stay here again!
We met Hilary on arrival and she was very nice and very helpful. The cottage was amazing. We had everything we needed and she left us homemade bread, shortbread and jam and also a bottle of red wine. She even left us dog treats and a ball for our wee dog. The whole cottage was spotless and smelt beautiful. The beds were so comfy. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Hilary for allowing us to rent your beautiful cottage.
Very modern and updated inside while retaining all the charm outside in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful courtyard. Our host was amazing and replied to our inquiries promptly. Plenty of space for a family or friends and close to St. Andrews and activities in Fife area. I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

The kitchen was beautifully equipped for cooking. Great quality pans and settings for 8. Having the log fire was great fun and made for some lovely homey and intimate evenings. Our dog had a great time too. Hilary was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent again.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay, 4 couples on a visit to Scotland, golfing and sight seeing. It is real close to St Andrews, there is a farm store and restaurant just down the street, train station close for trips to Edinburgh or north. Hilary was great and took care of us. Fresh Bread, homemade jam, bottle of wine, eggs and coffee awaited us on arrival. We all had a great time, Thank you Hilary we all would definitely stay here again
Just heading home from a long weekend at this beautiful cottage. We were visiting family nearby and wanted to have our own space and mini holiday. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, lots of lovely personal touches and very much a home from home. Incredibly comfortable. We will be back! Thank you Hilary!!
Driving up we knew Dron Court would be a special place, and stepping into Braid Cottage we felt immediately at home. Hilary was a phenomenal host and made sure we had everything we needed, while giving us all the privacy we wanted as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had lots of room to spread out. It’s very convenient to St. Andrew’s and to nearby areas as well. If I could rate this higher I would.
