Villa Parc in Illis, paradise for families and nature lovers.

The villa Parc en Illis is located in the middle of a large fully landscaped garden. The blue and pink hydrangeas, the moor and the pines will remind you that you are in Brittany. In the countryside, in the middle of the fields, the calm is assured, no noise of cars, nor of neighbors, only the song of the birds. The pool is large, 5m by 10m. It will make the happiness of the whole family.
The house is quite large, about 120 m2, with 4 beautiful rooms. The interior design allows two families to spend a beautiful holiday together while having each corner. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the 1st floor again two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The golf of Saint Laurent is at the bottom of the garden and within walking distance of the rental. It is a very nice course of 18 holes, whose route meanders among the pines. Me same experienced golfer, I very much appreciate this course. If you play golf, I will gladly share a game with you.
This house is in the countryside but only a few kilometers from the beautiful sandy beaches of Erdeven (Kerhilio, Kerouriec and Kerminihy). I went there by bike since last year. The wide beach of Kerhilio is ideal for families. The altitude difference is low and children can swim without danger. Kerouriec is quieter, but swimming is a little more sporty. Finally naturism is tolerated in Kerminihy.
For lovers of Surfs, Kite Surf, sand yachting, the beaches of Sainte Barbe and the almost island of Quiberon are just a few kilometers away and waiting for you. There is a surf school in Plouharnel.
The pretty ballads are not lacking. The municipality of Erdeven is very active on the development of hiking trails. Carnac, its alignments (in the process of being classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and its beaches are 10 km away, as is the port of La Trinité.
The gulf of Morbihan and its islands, Belle Ile at sea, Houat and Hoedic will offer you unforgettable memories. These islands are accessible from La Trinité, Auray, Vannes and Quiberon by boats with daily departures. Finally we must not forget Vannes and its ramparts, its light and sound show and the charming port of Auray, Saint Goustan.
Golfers will find their happiness with 3 golf courses nearby in addition to Saint-Laurent: Baden, Queven and Ploemeur. In short, a beautiful vacation in perspective.

Family holiday

We had the most delightful holiday so much so we hope to return next year! It so suited us as grandparents holidaying with our daughter, her husband and our three young grandchildren. The house had everthing we needed and the pool was the highlight.

Perfect location

Close to the beaches of Erdeven and Quiberon and beautifully located next to a golf course. Our family had a lovely time at St Laurent. The pool was favorite with the children and we used the BBQ every evening. We would love to come back. The owners were very kind.

Beautiful cottage with great pool!

Lovely homely cottage in inviting mature grounds. Good sized pool which was used daily for hours! Quite location a short drive to shops and beaches. The hosts Valerie and Pierre were extremely helpful and welcoming. A wonderful holiday. We will be back!

A Lovely Place - A Happy Week

We were given a warm welcome by the owners who proved very helpful and were unobtrusive. We quickly settled in the spacious property. We enjoyed the swimming pool, using the barbecue and the walks in the lovely grounds, It was so peaceful that we slept well and the owners provided information on local events, such as the art exhibition at Le Faouët, which was one of the highlights of our week (we visited twice!). We were sorry to leave and hope to return again when we can.

Beautiful house in a quiet location

The property is located in the grounds of a larger house where the owners live. It is well-equipped in a quiet location and we were given a warm welcome by the very pleasant owner who left for us some local delicacies by way of welcome. There were 4 adults and two teenagers in our party and there was plenty of room for us all. The only reason we gave an overall 4-star rather than 5-star is because the pool, though very nice, and reported to be 'heated', was actually quite chilly. If it could be warmed up a little more it would be perfect.

The cottage is set in very large grounds with a beautiful swimming pool. The hosts - Valerie and Pierre greeted us on arrival. A lovely couple. The accommodation is rustic with large rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Sleeping arrangements. Downstairs there is a double room with a king size bed. Adjacent to that is a twin room with a pull out truckle bed which my 2 year old grandson slept on: the bathroom is between the two rooms but no toilet. There are two toilets - one upstairs & one down. Upstairs, two bedrooms, a single and a twin. Beds are comfortable but kingsized a little too firm for me, I sorted this by using a duvet under the bottom sheet. Could really do with a bed ‘topper’ My whole family really enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool was used everyday and was safe for our 2 year old as it is fence with a locking gate: he wore a safety vest when around the pool area, Very close to the beautiful beaches on Quiberon peninsula plus the lovely Carnac beaches. The towns of Auray and Carnac are only 15-20 minutes distance. Markets galore in the area! Downsides - I think the twin downstairs room should be made into a family room. The addition of a cot or cot bed would be good. Also, a high chair. Some outdoor games for children would also be good. Maybe a swing and some ball games. It’s a great area for bikes as the roads are so quiet there. We were unable to take our bikes with us though. Overall, it’s a great holiday home!!!

Très belles vacances en Parc en Illis

Belle villa, bien située entre Carnac et Erdeven avec les plages a 10 mn est au calme dans un superbe parc. La piscine chauffée est grande et très appréciée des enfants. Maison confortable bien équipée ou rien ne manque. La sympathique propriétaire, Valérie est très discrète et nous a accueilli chaleureusement avec des spécialités bretonnes. Nous avons passé de très bonne vacances dans cette propriété.

Valérie nous a bien accueilli avec spécialités bretonnes. Piscine très appréciée par toute la famille. Logement très propre et agréable. Nous avons pu visiter et ainsi découvrir l arrière pays comme Erdeven, Ploemel...Etel. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de nos vacances avec nos enfants au calme près de la chapelle Saint Laurent.

Beautiful house, great location, quiet and with everything you need

We had a fantastic week. The house, the grounds, the swimming pool, are just fantastic. Everything you need. Local beach 10-15 mins away, easy parking, huge beach. Loads of things to do in the area, no matter if you want to play golf or are interested in menhirs and dolmen. Closest town, Erdeven, has a super market, a weekly market, and a fantastic boulangerie, Le Chant du Pain. AND a shop which sells oysters across from the church! Valerie was most helpful. We had a fantastic week and hope to be back!

séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable pendant une douzaine de jours dans cette maison. Nous étions 7: moi-même (le père) et 6 ados filles entre 14 et 16 ans. La maison est spacieuse, peu sonore, elle est entourée par un très joli parc, très bien entretenu et elle est attenante au golf de St Laurent, il suffit d'enjamber la barrière pour y être. Donc si vous êtes fans de golf vous serez ravis. La maison bénéficie d'une grande piscine (très bien sécurisée si vous avez des petits) ce qui est un plus indéniable et était un critère déterminant pour nous, pas de déception de ce côté-là. L'environnement de la maison est très calme, il y a des sentiers où faire du vtt ou du jogging à proximité immédiate. Pas de problèmes non plus pour faire les courses alimentaires, 2 Super U sont à 10/15 mn en voiture (Plouharnel et Carnac). Valérie, la propriétaire, est très courtoise (merci pour ses petits cadeaux d'arrivée) et bien qu'elle vive sur le même terrain que la maison, elle est très discrète. Nous avons donc passé un séjour très agréable. Il y a 2 points que de futurs vacanciers doivent tout de même avoir à l'esprit avant de louer cette maison, au risque d'être déçus: - si vous avez besoin de travailler pendant vos congés ou si vous avez des affaires personnelles en cours qui nécessitent une bonne connexion internet, le réseau est faible. A priori la fibre est prévue d'ici 8 mois donc le problème devrait être résolu pour l'année prochaine. - Mes filles et leurs amies sont très casanières d'une manière générale donc nous n'avons pas été gênés, mais si vous avez des ados qui veulent se distraire en sortant un peu le soir, il n'y a aucun point animé pour cet âge qui soit accessible autrement qu'en voiture, donc pas de sorties possibles à pieds ou en vélo. Rien de dramatique dans ces 2 points mais il vaut mieux le savoir. Pour ce qui nous concerne, nous avons passé de bonnes vacances en cet été 2020 un peu particulier, mes enfants se sont bien amusées et elles garderont un bon souvenir, c'est l'essentiel. Merci encore à Valérie pour son accueil tout au long de notre location.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette charmante maison où nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin dans un intérieur propre et en bon état. Le grand parc arboré privatif de la maison est un havre de tranquillité absolue et la piscine chauffée idéale. Les commodités sont à 5 à 10 min en voiture ce qui est tout à fait raisonnable et il ne faut guère plus de temps pour rejoindre les plages (Carnac, La Trinité...). La propriétaire nous a accueilli avec une grande sympathie et offert une bouteille de cidre et un kouign-amann qui étaient délicieux ! Merci encore Valérie ainsi que pour vos précieux conseils ayant rythmé notre séjour ! Location à retenir sans hésiter.

Fab holiday

Warm welcome, good accommodation, great setting, even the weather behaved itself! Many thanks to Valérie who researched gluten free food availability prior to our visit. The pool was a favourite of our grandchildren’s holiday and they spent many happy hours in there. Will certainly recommend to family and friends.

De belles vacances bretonnes !

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables dans cet endroit magnifique, en plein coeur d'un parc boisé et varié, trés bien entretenu par les propriétaires. Valérie est très sympatique, de bon conseil, et toujours disponible. Elle nous a accueillis avec un des meilleurs kouign amann de la région et un cidre excellent. La piscine de grande taille est très bien chauffée et la maison possède tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Tout est parfaitement propre. On se sent vraiment chez soi ! Commerces et plages à 10 minutes, et les plus belles villes du Morbihan à proximité. Cette propriété est un bel exemple de conservation du patrimoine français et mérite qu'on l'entretienne !

Génial!!!

De superbes souvenirs de notre semaine dans ce havre de tranquillité. La maison et la piscine sont situées au milieu d'un superbe parc parfaitement entretenu dans lequel nous avons passés la majorité du temps, entre barbecue et barbotage... La maison était parfaitement adaptée, particulièrement la grande et conviviale cuisine. Nous allions au golf à pied en 5-10 minutes tous les jours grâce à un accès par un petit portail. Enfin, merci beaucoup à Valérie et Michel qui nous attendaient avec le sourire à notre arrivée et qui ont tout mis à notre disposition pour un séjour parfait!

Parfaite maison pour un séjour estival

Cela fait 2 ans que nous revenons avec grand plaisir à Saint-Laurent, petit hameau très calme et reposant. La maison est parfaite pour 2 familles avec jeunes enfants, avec deux zones "nuit", une au premier étage (2 chambres ) et une au RDC (2 chambres). Elle a tous les équipements nécessaires. La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle. Elle est située dans un grand parc à l'arrière de la maison de le propriétaire, Valérie, personne tout à fait charmante et jamais avare de bons conseils pour que le séjour soit réussi. La piscine est très bien sécurisée et très agréable. Pour les golfeurs, la localisation de la maison est exceptionnelle car on peut accéder au golf de Saint-Laurent par un petit portillon près de la maison, qui borde le trou n°15. Il suffit de 5 minutes pour rejoindre le joli bourg d'Erdeven, ainsi que ses belles plages sur la côte sauvage. En 15 min, vous accédez aux villes plus touristiques comme Carnac ou La Trinité sur Mer. En 10 min, la baie d'Etel et ses paysages magnifiques. Bref, je recommande à 100% cette maison, une perle rare !
