Such an amazing place that we have rented numerous times over the years. Remote, beautiful, with two beaches for swimming and relaxing on, as well as launching a paddleboard or kayak. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Red Point is a magical spot. Looking forward to returning next year. Our family has enjoyed this simple but beautiful place for 35 years, with another generation now sharing the joy.
Directions and check in were easy, the kitchen was well stocked-we didn’t need anything that wasn’t supplied. I would come back with adults but maybe not my grandchildren, they were 9 and 12, it was a little too remote to keep them entertained. They did enjoy the small beach and surrounding areas for clamming and fishing.
This was the perfect place to spend a relaxing week! Waking up and having coffee looking out at the view was amazing! Thank you for sharing this awesome part of the world!
Lovely rustic cabin perched over a harbor with stunning views. Great birdwatching (if that’s your jam). Very quiet and at least 30 minutes from any stores which was fine by us! If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat on the rocky coast, this is a wonderful spot!

It is such a great to relax and I am happy to hear you enjoyed that aspect as well.
Fabulous location. Kayaked with Bald Eagles and Osprey overhead!
Very comfy for our small family. The house had everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfy. Good working wood stove and effective electric heater. The beach was great. A wonderful 2 weeks.

I am so glad you enjoyed your time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
We had an amazing time on the property. There is no shortage of places to explore & extraordinary sights to see! The ocean nearly surrounds the property & there are eagles, osprey, seals, and more!! By far the best place we’ve ever visited. The cabin has everything you need with a stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, warm shower with great water pressure, fire place, and a perfect porch. Close to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Tinder Hearth restaurant for dinners, Bagaduce for lobster roll lunch, antique shops - all of these things are with in an hour or two from the cabin. No shortage of things to explore.
There are 6 pieces to a pie. Our vacation in Brooksville Maine was the Whole Pie. Peaceful and relaxing, incredible views, tons of wildlife, fine dining, kayaking and fishing and outstanding seafood. Will be back next year for a longer stay!

Wonderful gem of a cabin was a perfect home for the week for our family. We absolutely loved it.
The cabin was beyond words wonderful—- the woods, beaches, dock, views and peacefulness were such a respite and joy for our family. Allen was a welcoming and lovely host throughout the process of reserving the cabin and answering our questions— we could not have asked for anything else.
The seals in the cove, eagles overhead, cries of the seagulls on the nearby island— it all made for such a wonderful backdrop for our week of sailing and reading and swimming.
We couldn’t have loved the cabin more! It was exactly what we were wanting on our two-week visit to the area. While being very private with paths through the woods and down to a beach, it was still very accessible to many of the quaint restaurants and sights nearby.
The wood stove was perfect for keeping the cabin warm and cozy on cool days.
My family’s dad I had a wonderful week at Red Point. The cabin was perfect for the whole family, including our dog. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. My kids and husband and I had fun swimming, kayaking and exploring the trails and tide pools. Nearby Holbrook Island Sanctuary was also a great place to explore. Red Point was exactly what I was looking for for my Maine vacation. I hope to come back and visit again next summer!

Thank you for coming and taking such great care of the place!
We hope to see you again soon.
Kindly,

Thoroughly enjoyed our "get away from it all". Even our 15-year old grandson did not miss television or the internet (worked early in the day but evenings were more hit or miss). The views were stunning and never became old. Especially liked watching the seals and birds (eagle included).
My wife and I stayed three weeks at Red Point. From the moment we saw the cabin and stood on the front porch, we were mesmerized by the beauty, silence, and serenity of the expansive view of the bay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked, including adequate split firewood for the wood stove. We can't wait to return next year.

Thank you so much for your kind note! Glad you enjoyed Red Point!
Lovely little cabin with a magnificent deck and view. Very relaxing! Road in is challenging as the host has indicated. Don’t come in a low slung vehicle! Boats and wild life to watch. We had a very relaxing stay.

Thank you for staying with us! So glad you had a chance to relax.
This is a fantastic place to unplug, unwind and get inspired. Wonderful swimming, miles to explore on land and water while walking trails and paddle boarding, beautiful views from many sit spots in and around the cabin, and excellent internet for when you need to explore the World Wide Web. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is cook ready, and the wood stove is very easy to use to warm up on rainy or chilly days.
I wanted to be nestled in the woods along the craggy Maine shoreline with zero distractions. This property gave my family all of that and more. The kids loved exploring the trails, fishing, rock skipping, shelling and bird/boat watching. My husband I could sit on the porch 24/7, but spent each day exploring a different nook and cranny of Maine from Rockland to Acadia. This is the first vacation in forever that time slowed down and we could relax!
