The apartment is situated on the third and top floor of the building and offers views over the village and slopes.
The lounge/dining room has direct access to a large, private balcony. Within the lounge, there is a large L-shaped sofa to relax on while watching TV, reading a book or relaxing.
The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and leads you into a relatively large lounge/dining room which has direct access to a private balcony.
There are 3 bedrooms: * Master bedroom (very spacious) - King-size bed plus bunk beds. * Second bedroom (spacious) - Double bed plus bunk beds. * Third bedroom - Double bed and is the smallest of the three bedrooms. All rooms have bedside tables and chest of drawers.
Main Bathroom - toilet, bath and separate large shower: The newly refurbished main bathroom has a bath and a separate shower where you can soak away those bumps and bruises from the days adventures! Hot water is unlimited (water pressure is very good), a hair dryer is provided and a heated towel rail helps dry off damp clothes. There is also a washing machine (in main bathroom) and dryer (on balcony) available for use.

We have a large, private 'cave'/ski locker in the basement to store skis, snowboards, boots, bikes etc. Within the apartment block we have outside parking and there is also a private garage space.
Days Out: Here is a quick overview. * Amazing ski possibilities both on your doorstep & 15-20 minutes away for more variety * Mont Blanc Chamonix - hour drive, Europe’s highest cable car * Abbaye d’Aulps - 5 mins down in the main village a beautiful ruined abbey * Lake Annecy - hour drive, a beautiful medieval town * Yvoire - 40 mins, picturesque village next to Lake Geneva * Les Lindarets - 20 mins a mountain village overrun with goats! A must see - great photo opportunity! * Lake Montriand - 15 mins a beautiful lake - fishing, walking & swimming * Pont du Diable Gorges - 20 mins down towards Thonon in Le Jotty - very impressive! * Mechanical Museum in Les Gets

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
When you leave, just leave it tidy - we have Holly & the T&D Team coming in to set it up for the next guests so no need to strip beds or anything.

Wonderful stay in this 3 double bedroom apartment. The town is quiet but if that's what you want it's perfect and the accommodation and owners are just fab.
We had a lovely stay at Claire & Tony’s apartment. They were very accommodating to our needs of an early checkin and late checkout. It was in a good location in the centre of the village, with easy access to all amenities. The bed linen and towels were excellent quality. We would recommend the apartment and would stay here again. Many thanks for a pleasurable stay.
Great apartment and fantastic location. The hosts were immensely responsive and supportive with any queries we had. The only tricky thing was that the car park was busy but there was heaps of easy free parking nearby.

Loves the apartment, kitchen was well stocked, and very easy to cook a proper meal in. Beds comfy, all good! Would definitely recommend, especially being so close to the lift

What a fabulous holiday home! You literally couldn’t ask for more. Everything you need is there, including games, wifi, spacious rooms, loads of storage for clothes, Super helpful hosts, great location, kitchen accessories to make picnics and packed lunches easy to take out and about. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend this apartment. If we come to the area again, we would definitely love to stay here again .

Weather was awful - but cannot blame the Potts's for that. Still managed to get some skiing in - we go every year and look forward to a repeat visit next year.

This location was truly beautiful and as advertised. Clean beds AND MATTRESSES with wonderful home feel.
7 of us stayed at location comfortably. The owners were thorough and actively communicated with us during stay.
Only recommendation is to get physical address of location before traveling to avoid getting lost and receive direct map to location.
Truly wonderful experience and we hope to visit again and stay at the same location.
Spacious apartment with plenty of room to relax after a day of skiing. Lovely big sofa, on which we could lounge comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped. Super comfortable double beds. Great family bathroom with a decent sized shower and the added bonus of another shower room. If conditions are good you wouldn’t need to leave La Grande Terche but it is a great base to explore what the rest of the Portes Du Soleil has to offer.

location in Saint Jean D’aulps at the bottom of the ski lift and next to restaurants, shops and the ski hire. we wanted somewhere convenient, modern, tidy and comfortable to make skiing as easy and enjoyable for our toddlers and the apartment truly delivered. we couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in saint jean d’aulps or just plan to take a family skiing. highly recommend
A great 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Will suit 6 adults or a family with children. Location right by the lift at Grande Terche. We didn’t ski there this time but drove to ardent lift to ski most days and then one day in Les Gets. There are 2-3 great restaurants right next door and a small supermarket. We cooked in most nights. Very well equipped. Even a garage for the car too. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was fantastic. Everything there that you could possibly need for a weeks skiing.
The spacious apartment was ideal for two families of four. Bedrooms were nice and roomy and the convenience of two toilets and a shower as well as a bath made it very easy to accommodate everyone in the morning getting ready before hitting the slopes.
We arrived to a very clean and tidy apartment and couldn’t fault the convenice of having the ski hire shop next door and the telecabin a mere two minutes walk away- and that was with tour boots and skis!
Would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a great weeks skiing with a comfortable, homely fully equipet place to stay.

Ski village in summer
Top flat in a block in a ski station 8 mins drive above a village. Well equipped kitchen, lovely view of mountains from balcony. We brought blackout blinds to block sunlight in early mornings, and needed them. Hot water takes 10 mins to come on in summer as the block of flats (and the ski station) is deserted outside ski season. Owners helpful, but live outside UK, so all communications are with local rental agency.

And instead of the apartment sitting empty throughout the ski year, we have decided to rent it out so others can experience some of the same magic and joy!
