About Jerry Allen
We started coming to Lake Vermilion in the 1970's with close friends in search of the elusive walleye while staying at many resorts and rental cabins on the lake, always dreaming about owning our own cabin. Finally we purchased our cabin on Frazer Bay in 1992 which now continues to provide us with many wonderful memories and is located next door to The Cottage.
Jerry Allen purchased this cottage in 2014
Why Jerry Allen chose Cook
Our dear neighbors owned The Cottage next door and with their family we created many wonderful memories. As they grew older and realized they needed to sell we struggled with losing the uniqueness of our shared special spot. So in 2014 we bought the cottage so memories would continue to be made and shared by others.
What makes this cottage unique
The beauty of The Cottage is the lot is level on the water's edge for family activities. The Cottage is a private, secluded property with 350 feet of lakeshore and over 5 acres of land. The adjoining bay provides privacy while watching water fowl and turtles sitting on rocks. The Cottage has easy access for swimming, boating, fishing and watching wildlife including bald eagles soaring overhead and deer roaming the property. The Cottage is located only a few hundred feet from the public boat landing for easy boat access in and out of the water.
