Upon entering, you’ll find a modern and functional independent kitchen, fully equipped and ventilated through an interior patio. To the right, the bright living room stands out with large windows overlooking Calle San Gregorio. It includes a comfortable sofa bed (1.40 x 1.90 m) and tasteful decor with custom-made furniture.
A hallway connects the living room and kitchen to the three bedrooms and three bathrooms, distributed as follows:

The property was as listed. Air conditioning worked very well especially with days of 100 degrees. Agency owners responsive with questions. Agency representative met us for check-in. WiFi worked very well. Location was fantastic being close to all the major tourist attractions. Kitchen small but functional and everything you need.

Disingenuous business department cast shadow over stay
Within an hour of arriving there was flooding from the apartment above. We worked to capture the water in pots from the kitchen and let Genteel Homes know immediately. We spent the evening in the apartment to let in staff and and a repair technician. We were told that Genteel Homes had found an apartment to move us to and we agreed to move the next day. The next morning the flooding was worse and we all had our clothes and shoes get wet with dirty water as we tried to prevent damage to the apartment by bailing the pots as the water poured from the ceiling. When we got to the new apartment I was told that we would receive 20% off of our bill for our inconvenience. I mentioned to the staff member that this did not seem correct as the new apartment was not nearly as nice as the one we had rented and that I would only like to pay for the advertised cost of the new apartment and be credited for the wet night we had spent. After a few days of back and forth with the business office, I was sent an email that made me furious. I was told that the two apartments were of equal quality and cost and that they would not refund an amount of money that I requested. The apartment we were moved to was listed on VRBO for 40 Euros less per night and rightly so. It was 30% smaller, had inadequate dining and living room seating for our party, had much smaller bedrooms with cramped bathrooms that didn't even include a shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo. The disingenuous nature of the email and the outright lie regarding the likeness between the two apartments and the prices means that I will never rent from Genteel Homes again. Save yourself the frustration of working with dishonest people and find a different apartment to rent.

It saddens us that you write a review here when you did not stay at the apartment on this listing in the end. Also, we are deeply disheartened by the rate you have given us and our services after the effort the whole team made to make your stay more comfortable after the incident you have mentioned. Please allow me to clarify that the leak that flooded the apartment was actually coming from the apartment just above ours and had nothing to do with our property. Nevertheless, we understand your frustration and apologize for this. As soon as the problem was brought to our attention, we offered an alternative accommodation for you to move immediately to another apartment with the same characteristics and number of bedrooms; yet you decided to stay. It was not until the next day that you wanted to move and, besides, we offered a 20% off for the inconveniences. When you let us know you did not find this reimbursement fair, we offered other two different apartments than the one you originally had booked, yet your decision was to stay. We do not understand the nature of the complaint as of all the options offered, you accepted the one that you write about. All of our apartments have dynamic prices and the options offered were within the price range you had paid.

From the beginning it was difficult to get a hold of the property manager to figure out the payment and check in process. He finally got back to me the day before my arrival and asked for payment through his own site which I thought was weird. The apartment was very difficult to find (no taxi knew where it was). The apartment is just OK, very worn down and in need of maintenance. There was an awful sewage odor coming into the unit everyday throughout the day, not sure if it was a pipe problem or what, but it was terrible. The wifi barely worked in the bedrooms, and then to top it off the front door lock broke on the second day and we were fully locked out of the building standing outside waiting to get in. People kept closing the door after they determined it was broken and we kept getting stuck outside. The management didn’t seem to care. Overall was a pretty crappy experience and much worse than the photos and description stated. The location was pretty good though!
We enjoyed our stay. This is a big apartment with a lot of space for 6 of us to spread out. It’s centrally located and easy to get around with a metro stop very close, Real Alcazar around the corner and plenty of places to eat.
Stayed here for a week with 2 friends from the US. This was a great central location where it was so easy to walk wherever we needed to go in Sevilla. Also great to each have our own bedroom and bathroom. We also spent some time hanging out in the living room which has a very comfy couch and played some board games (that we brought) on the dining room table.
Great place to stay, tons of quality advice from the management team on Sevilla. Great layout and clean, in a great part of town. If it wasn’t for all the rain it would have been perfect, but it was still pretty close. Book it and rest assured it’s exactly what your expecting but better.
