Romantic Meadow Cabin in FLX Wine Country

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Meadow House is a cozy, custom-built cabin for two on 15 acres of wildlife meadow. The enclosed king bedroom and bathroom open onto a charming covered outdoor sitting area with kitchenette, bbq pit, games and fire pit. You'll be minutes from all the Finger Lakes has to offer: Seneca wine trail, Watkins Glen, restaurants, and biking, hiking, waterfalls, swimming & picnicking. Or stay put to enjoy our swimming pond & meadow trails!

Hector Meadows Ranch is 15 private acres nestled in a wildflower meadow and adjacent to the Finger Lakes National Forest. You'll have expansive sky views, submersed in nature, but conveniently located to all the Finger Lakes Region has to offer::

We had a lovely time at the cabin. Comfortable, rustic, away from it all, adjacent fields for us to walk and our dog to romp. The owner was helpful and friendly. The living room is actually outside...one wall is open, which is a bonus when it's warm.

Being that this was our 1st time with Vrbo, we were a little nervous about what our experience would be. We were put a bit at ease with the excellent reviews that we read about the accommodations and their experience. But at the same time, you think it was too good to be true. Our stay was absolutely perfect and our thoughts are exactly what all the other reviews have stated! The accommodations were perfect. I loved that it was in the middle of no where. Very rustic, fun and quiet. Perfect place to decompress from the rest of the world. I particularly love that they even though about your dog with the doggie poop bag dispenser in the bathroom, the basket of toys outside and even a leash! Our Doberman is our family and therapy. We try to take him everywhere with us. Thank you for allowing us to include him and thank you for thinking of his needs and all other doggies needs. :)The accommodations were very clean! Our host was very informative and thoughtful with providing all the information needed ahead of time. The whole experience was very easy. Thank you for making our 1st experience with Vrbo better than we expected.We definitely plan to come back and stay the next time we are in town for the Six Hours at the Glen.Thank you for everything, Hana!

We like to stay at places where our pups have room to roam. This place was perfect. Lots of property to explore and a nice yard to throw the frisbee for our very active girl. We really enjoyed the outdoor sitting area. The cool fall days were made comfortable with the provided heater. We had a great relaxing getaway.

Headed here with two of my dogs to celebrate a birthday. Amazing property and unique cabin setup! We got to rough it, but with WiFi! The dogs loved the paths, and I loved how close this is to great hiking trails, wineries, and great food.

This stay was better than anticipated. Very clean and quiet. I like how this is an old stable repurposed as a VRBO. The room was very nice and I enjoyed the outside as much as possible. Made a fire every night, watched the stars/ satellites and grilled some steaks on the outdoor grill. There must be about 2-3 acres that are a part of the compound that make for a nice stroll in the early evening. Some friends came over one night and were jealous of my accommodations. I may be doing this trip annually, and this place would be my go to.

Very pleased with the entire experience. Very unique accommodations. The outside living area is very nice and protected from the elements. The indoor (large bedroom & shower/bathroom) compared to that of a nice hotel. We spent most of our time traveling and visiting guests at the RV park nearby, so did not take full advantage of what the property had to offer…. But we are hoping for a future visit to do just that. Unless you stay in Watkins Glen, you need to drive to any destination, so don’t let the distance away from town deter you. Very nice with wonderful owners.
