This property was a lovely little place to stay for me and my partner. The extra little touches were lovely, it was peaceful and the location was perfect for us. Would recommend to anyone just looking to get a way for a few days, to relax and have some peace and quiet.
Jo was excellent at communicating and was very accommodating. Despite being close to the main house we felt very secluded and private, the patio and garden are idyllic
Host Jo was great. Nothing was too much trouble and she even stocked the room with fresh bread, milk, coffee etc to get us started for our ten night stay.
The only reason I haven’t scored 5 stars is I think for longer stays it needs a washing machine and with some warmer UK weather a split system air con would be necessary.
Overall great stay thoroughly enjoyed the absolute tranquility
What an amazing place! Jo has an impeccable eye for detail and every part of the apartment was beautiful. The cut flowers from her garden were a wonderful touch. Everything was incredibly clean, a fully functional kitchen with all utensils needed. A powerful shower and wonderfully comfortable bed. The breakfast supplies were a lovely treat too. Jo was very responsive and helpful before we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

I’ve so pleased you had a good stay. I was willing the weather to improve for you, but sadly failed! Thank you for being lovely guests.
The property was just as advertised - roomy for 2, very clean, beautifully appointed and private with its own patio area. The bed is first class as are kitchen facilities. The host, Jo, is really friendly and helpful. New laid eggs provided with a loaf and bread, milk and breakfast supplies. We will definately stay again.
Idyllic location, garden produce on site, owner thought of everything for that get away stay
Jo couldn’t do more for you, thinking of every eventuality (even down to me forgetting toothpaste!) Beautiful, beautiful, quiet rural location with the only occasional noise from passers by On horse back or cycles. Clean, sumptuousness SuperKing bed & enough room to swing a cat still (although they only have friendly dogs on site!) (: Luxurious kitchenette. Clinically clean shower room. Decorated straight out of House & Garden mag..photos on here doesn’t do it justice. Beautifully gorgeous planted court yard to the front / side of property. Large turning bay & parking facility - off street. If self-catering, then ensure to find local shops first, as rural (I didn’t do my research first) but Jo left plenty of food available for those of us, not so organised :) will stay often. Loved it! <3

What a lovely review, I am so pleased you had a good stay. Thank you! Look forward to you staying again.
Really enjoyed our three night stay. Everything is of a decent quality and very tastefully done. Extremely comfy and huge bed. Good breakfast provisions including eggs from the garden. Didn't meet Jo, the owner, as no need to but Jo lives close by should you need any assistance. Recommended.
what a lovely place to stay and could not have asked for more.
