Family Ski Trip
Perfect spot for our family ski trip. Location was convenient to the village shops, restaurants and most importantly the ski lifts. The unit has all we needed to cook a few meals during our stay. Property managers were easy to communicate with. Perfect for our family of six.

We'd Come Back!
This was our first time to Solitude. It was me, my husband and our 19yo son. There was plenty of room for us. We loved the small village and how close everything was to this condo. It is not true ski-in/out, as advertised. It is a 5 minute walk through the village to the nearest lift. We got a lot of snow while we were there and did see a few people skate-skiing to buildings a little closer to the mountain but Eagle Springs East is a little too far for that. The unit was one of the best-stocked units we've ever stayed in. They had everything you'd need in the unit - laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, soap, trash bags, basic spices and oils, coffee filters. The coffee make is a regular drip machine and they even have a bean grinder. There is a small shelf with a light and outlet above each bunk bed which is a very thoughtful and useful detail. The locker is very small - the full length old style metal gymnasium style locker - not big enough for everyone's boots and skis but not a big deal. The kitchen and bathroom surfaces and floors were spotless clean. The only observation about cleanliness is the ceiling fans and bathroom vents were covered in a thick layer of dust and a few of the throw rugs and pillows and maybe a few of the blankets could use a re-fresh. Overall, we loved this unit and all its thoughtful details and would most definitely rent it again!

Great Unit - Beware Vacasa
The property itself is terrific. Five stars in all ways. This is a corner unit with lots of light and easy access. We have stayed in this building in other units - this one is the nicest one we have seen. It has everything you need, is very tastefully appointed, and is close to the ski lifts and Club Solitude amenities. Great place! However, there is a major caveat: Vacasa. We will not be renting this unit again unless the owner stops using Vacasa to manage the property. In the past we have always booked units in this building directly with Solitude resort. Solitude is great - they offer 5 star service to their guests ... however if you booked via Vacasa you are treated as third class. Simple things like leaving a bag in the office on check out day or paying to extend parking a few hours after check out (to allow skiing that day) - which were simple in the past - were impossible. This effectively turned a 5 day vacation into a 4 day vacation. Vacasa has a well oiled and automated system that works okay until you want service after hours or on a weekend - and then it fails miserably. We love Solitude and will be back again - but we will book a unit through Solitude's system.

Nice spot for a longterm stay
A lovely little place. Well furnished and comfortable—kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking. A 5 - 10 minute walk to Apex lift, so definitely not ski in / ski out, but still convenient. Lockers were pretty small to try to fit 4 people’s gear. I was finding it quite difficult to communicate with Vacasa (every time a different person with a different answer), but once the property manager herself reached out, it was a totally different experience. Patricia was amazing and helped get everything sorted out in no time, plus checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed and was super responsive.
