Larkspur Lair is a gorgeous, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Gold rated cabin that sleeps up to 7 guests. The fully equipped kitchen sports granite countertops, all stainless steel appliances, all cooking and dining essentials, a teapot, blender, dishwasher, and plenty of room for a family cooking showdown. Built-in 2016, this beautiful home has been designed with your comfort in mind. It has an automatically starting, whole house backup generator, spacious rooms, a washer, and a dryer and is in close proximity to The Redwoods office and Event Center. The comfortable living room features a river rock fireplace, plush upholstered couch and chairs, and carpeting. Need entertainment? A large flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi are at your disposal, along with a CD/DVD player, games, poker set, cards, dice, coloring books, and a small book library. In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge (formerly The Wawona Hotel), go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining.
