Our hosts, Richard and Susan, were very welcoming and we enjoyed our tour around the farm to see the baby calves. The flowers and the delicious chocolate cake were a really nice touch, thank you! We found the location of the cottage ideal for the places we wanted to visit in Northumberland, with most places being less than 30 minutes away. There were several supermarkets a short drive away in Alnwick. We had everything we needed in the cottage for a short stay and we would happily stay there again.

We had a lovely break at Cheviot View.

We had a lovely break at Cheviot View. Lovely quiet location, excellent views. Owners Were perfect hosts. The only thing that was really missed was a dishwasher!! Apart from that, a good choice of cottage.

This is a great holiday cottage - it's not fancy or ultra- modern , but it is very comfortable, warm, well equipped and in a beautiful setting on a working farm just outside Alnwick and with fabulous views of the Cheviots from the lounge window and garden. It's a great base from which to explore the area . The owners are really lovely, genuine, friendly, welcoming and helpful - they will leave you to get on and enjoy your holiday but they are there if you need them . It's very dog friendly and the garden is great for dogs. It must be good , as I 've been 10 or more times !!
