Situated in the quiet village of Kirkgunzeon, close to the town of Dalbeattie, this spacious semi-detached holiday cottage looks onto a bubbling stream at the bottom of the garden. There are various walks available, from scenic coastal walks to marked forest trails with the world class Dalbeattie 7 Stanes mountain trail close by, as well as Mabie Forest - it is a popular location for mountain bikers of all levels. With sailing, swimming, riding, fishing, golf, boat trips and water sports close by, there is sure to be something for everyone. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit, including Threave Gardens (National Trust), historical sites and castles to explore. Discover the Solway Coast with its extensive sandy beaches, rocky coves, traditional fishing villages and harbour ports. Kirkcudbright, the artists’ town, has art galleries, antique shops, museums and shops while Castle Douglas, Scotlands Food Town, is a traditional market town with many local foods available. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
