Amazing holiday in one of the cottages.

Amazing holiday in one of the cottages.- Milking Parlour. Comfortable, spacious and great location if you are looking for a remote place, yet still close to a village. Hosts are also lovely and helpful. We loved our stay, thank you very much! Our recommendations are - change the electric shower as the pressure is absolutely terrible and for someone with long hair, it is almost impossible to wash the hair. - check the smell coming from under the sink- the radiator in the bathroom is noisy when the heating comes on, for a day we thought there is a washing machine above us, however it is most likely that your valves to the radiator are not being fitted correctly. Noise stops when the radiator is switched off.

The cottage was lovely the only thing we struggled with was walking the Dog after dark.

The cottage was lovely the only thing we struggled with was walking the Dog after dark. Personally for us we need more of an enclosed garden to let the dog loose. But apart from that the cottage was nice and comfortable and close to Alston. We would go back but maybe in the summer months when we can easily walk out after 5pm.
