Unit #1 is a cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo in an exceptional, private setting. This unit is situated on the ground level of the lodge and is completely handicap accessible. The unit was recently constructed and features an open kitchen, dining and living area with a private bedroom and spacious bathroom. Perhaps the greatest feature of the unit is its unbeatable location in Joseph. The Lodge is on Main Street within walking distance to amenities including restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, art galleries and more. Wallowa Lake is only a few minute's drive away.
Inside, tile floors flow throughout the living space for a clean, fresh look. The kitchen is fully-stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils and features stainless steel appliances including a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator. Two stools sit at the large breakfast bar. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a closet stocked with a small chest of drawers. Each room has zonal Cadet wall heaters to easily customize the temperature throughout. Basic soaps, paper towels, a hair dryer and extra linens and pillows are provided. The kitchen has some basic condiments and spices as well as coffee. There is wireless internet and a flat-screen t.v. with Dish TV in the living area. The bathroom and kitchen both have instant hot water and excellent water pressure.
Outside, relax on the covered porch and enjoy tranquil sounds of Big Bend Creek which runs through the back of the property. Barbecue and enjoy views of the Wallowa Mountains from one of the patios or pergola. Deer often hang out on the property for some local wildlife viewing. Mt. Joseph Lodge offers nightly accommodations with all the amenities of home.

Great place in Joseph

We really enjoyed our stay at the Joseph Lodge. We were there for 6 nights. The location is really good; on a creek, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The unit was clean, roomy with a nice bathroom and kitchen. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the families of mule deer roam around the property in the evening.

The unit was comfortable, and kitchen supplies easy to find and use. However, the cupboards were a little high for my use...especially to safely lift down plates, glasses and mugs.

Great condo in a wonderful location!

We had an awesome time in Joseph for three days while attending the Dragon Boat races at Wallowa Lake State Park. The condo was perfect for my husband and I, when we came back from the lake sunburnt and tired. Great kitchen, bathroom with a powerful shower head and comfortable bed. You might want to bring a hairdryer, since i was unable to locate one. Easy location to walk to the local brewpubs. We will be back!

A Nice Spot in a Spectacular Location

We enjoyed our stay. Our unit included table and chairs outside where we enjoyed our breakfasts and lunches. We we close to the town yet still very quiet. This area is worth being on everyone’s bucket list.

We stayed in room 1. Though there were lack of windows the interior was more than I expected. It was relaxing, inviting, and even had a small air conditioner which cooled the room nicely. I enjoyed the size and type of shower and bathroom as well. Best thing of all is the location. Walk to anywhere you want in Joseph and only minutes from Wallowa lake or Enterprise. Good work, recommended stay. Only complaint...... no DVD player or TV in the bedroom. However we have Netflix and they had a smart TV which allowed us to connect to it!

High Walkability Score

Nice to be right there on Main Street. This unit is on ground floor at rear of building with a front and back door, adjacent to irrigation ditch. The sound of water is a nice touch and completely drowns out any traffic sounds from out front. Unit itself is modern with well outfitted kitchen with full size stove and fridge. Bed is comfy and bathroom is large and spotless. In fact housekeeping gets an A++ here and were kind enough to keep us stocked up throughout our stay. There is also an in room A/C unit that came in handy. Internet connection was fast and uninterrupted. Grounds are quite nice. The only downside at all are the two dogs across the ditch from the gazebo. Their barking makes use of the gazebo iffy. VRBO probably can't do anything about this and that is a shame because they also started up before 6am on 2-days of our stay. Fortunately they don't go on for long, but it is a drag. Again, a great experience all around.

Very nice

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was modern, well appointed with appliances, furniture, etc. The unit was very clean. The shower was fantastic! It was quiet and accessible. We stayed in unit 1. The only caveats are that there are only two windows in the unit, so it can be a little dark, and the bedroom is small but not impossibly so. Our friends stayed in unit 7 a two bedroom that faced the mountains, and their unit was very light and open. All of that said, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great condo, great location

We loved our stay here in Joseph. The place was bigger and nicer than it looks in pictures and in a great location. The grounds are awesome and peaceful. Joseph is a beautiful place and I hope we get another opportunity to visit and stay here again!

Comfortable in Joseph, Oregon

To all, Our stay was a very comfortable and quiet 5 night stay. My wife and I could not believe that the property was as nice as it was and the quietness of the surrounding building and grounds. Our space looked of recently new construction with many new and very nice upgrades of amenities through out. With finishes such as, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, nice size bath area to a comfortable covered porch/deck area to also relax in, the property was nicely/professionally landscaped with a common area that include many outdoor/backyard amenities as well. And all this.. is in downtown Joseph, Oregon at a very reasonable price of lodging. With a very short walk to the center of town to experience all the eateries, shops, art galleries and the quaintness of Joseph's small town atmosphere. The weather happened to be in our favor the entire stay, with sunny skies and warm comfortable temperatures to enjoy all outdoor activities We are already planning our next visit to Joseph and stay at this same facility again.
