A nice spacious, well equipped, house in awonderful location. Beautiful views of the village and sea from living room. Great for walks, cafes and the village pub. Supermarket and Whitby just a couple of miles away. Good value. The house was pretty clean with basic decor but let down by a lack of maintenance which could be easily fixed. Things such as a broken shower fitting in the main bathroom and drawers handles on the chest of drawers had all fallen off so very difficult to open drawers.

Lovely quiet location

Overall we had a lovely stay and I would stay at the property again. There were lovely views from the bedroom and living rooms of the sea. The kitchen was well equipped. The living room had been updated with new sofas, bigger tv and redecoration, which was a pleasant surprise. The property is a minute’s walk from the beach and cafe which is lovely and quiet. The negatives are the main bedroom has a damp issue and the paint was flaking off as we were there, onto the cupboards and carpet. The main bathroom could do with a good clean, as the shower had some spots of mould/mil due around the tiles and edges. But if the property had been empty for a few weeks it might have been overlooked by the management company. Thanks for a lovely break for my family.

What a great place!!!

We really enjoyed this cottage. It was immaculate and a very short walk to a really nice beach with a couple of breakfast/ lunch restaurants right there as well. If you're looking for a nice beach vacation in England this is the place to go. We will be back.
