Located in the charming village of Church Enstone, this traditional family country bolthole built in the late 1800s is set in a beautiful large garden close to the popular village pub. It is ideal for families and couples alike wanting to get away from it all in this quiet setting but situated only 5 miles from Chipping Norton, a popular market town. This is a great place to stay to explore the typically English countryside that is the Cotswolds with its quaint villages and open views. For larger towns and cities, you can visit Oxford, Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon which are all a short distance away. This area is also ideal for walking and cycling and visiting the many historic gardens, houses and ancient sites of the National Trust. Shop ¾ mile, pub 100 yards and restaurant 5 miles.

A lovely little cottage with conservatory extension that faces a lush summer garden. My family enjoyed our stay immensely and made use of the kitchen, well-stocked with cooking equipment. Location is excellent for exploring the Cotswold villages and dreaming spires of Oxford. The sitting room is lovely and cosy and we enjoyed just sitting in the conservatory rocking chairs.

Charming cottage with lovely garden

Really delightful cottage in lovely Church Endstone. The cottage is a fully furnished family home with a lovely conservatory. It is well placed to visit the surrounding Cotswold towns, Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle.

Lovely, homely stay

Nice place - lovely location in a wonderful village. Very homely - it's one of those places that appears to be used equally by the owner so you get to stay in their home. As opposed to it being a pure holiday home. Definitely would stay again. Large garden with friendly neighbours. Recommended

Loved our stay in jubilee cottage very homely ,the dog loved the big garden to play in ,only criticism we would say we would have loved some easy chairs in conservatory as this room is lovely at night and rocking chairs are little hard going after few hours even with cushions 😊and a bigger tv ,the bed we slept in was so comfortable, best nights sleep had in long time ,,can also highly recommend the crown inn best roast dinner ever had ,location was great for walks ,and weather was simply best ,we had just the perfect week away ,and will definitely book again 🥰

Beautiful countryside stay

Wonderful stay at the Jubilee cottage during Christmas! Beautiful weather and walking paths. Great communication from the caretaker. Kitchen stocked for cooking full meals. Here is some feedback to update the listing that did not affect our trip much: DVD player was not functional, too old to hook up to the TV. Only Washing machine available, no dryer. Not a huge deal at all but if you see a washing machine and think there will be a dryer, there is only hang drying. Thank you for the lovely stay!

A Very Welcome Break

Overall process of booking etc was fine - disappointed that the requested communication pre arrival elicited no response at as was the case with a similar communication on departure but essentially all was good. Gate entrance, as mooted, was very much a challenge. TV remote was non operative but was not practically relevant. Accommodation and facilites were as advertised and the arrival biscuits were a delight. We had a thoroughly pleasant few days away.

Our second stay at jubilee cottage , just love this cottage it’s got a lovely homely feel , location is great lots of walks nearby for dogs , the pub is lovely great food and very friendly, can’t recommend jubilee cottage enough , hope to go back next month for a big birthday celebration, Brian the caretaker very helpful and friendly,can’t wait for our next visit

Great cottage. Fab garden. A few doors down from lovely pub and only 7 min drive from Chipping Norton for your groceries and takeaways.

Homely cottage, well equipped, in small , quiet, village with good pub. Sadly we left early due to lockdown!! Not for those with mobility issues as two flights of steep stairs and entrance steps. Great for families, child friendly garden.
