An idyllic, peaceful spot and a well appointed, clean and cosy cottage/annex.

An idyllic, peaceful spot and a well appointed, clean and cosy cottage/annex.The track leading to the accommodation was a little tricky to navigate owing to some significant potholes, but picking our way up to the property was well worth it. Pauline was incredibly welcoming, without being overbearing, and it was a joy to meet her dog and horses. The quiet, rural views were wonderful to wake up to!

Lovely cottage and hostess

Well equipped cottage. Very quiet location. Would recommend. Unbeknownst, I left a dress at the property and it arrived in the post shortly after my stay. Great service!!!

Just right for our quiet break and need to visit various locations from where ancestors came from Access is along a track very muddy wet when we were there but it’s ok if you just drive slowly - owner had prepared us

Fijn huis in mooie omgeving

Comfortabel, voldoende uitgerust, op prachtige locatie. Schitterend uitzicht op weide en bos aan de achterzijde. Veel waar voor het geld. Diverse gezellige pubs in de omgeving, waar het goed eten was. Ga naar The Three Chimneys!

A really great place to stay if you want comfort and tranquillity.

A really great place to stay if you want comfort and tranquillity. We can't really give a high score for location and amenities as it is in an isolated position very off the beaten track. However, that was our choice and it is lovely there so we wouldn't want to lower the overall score. It is so good that we hope to return when the weather is better! Such a lovely cottage and wonderful hosts.

The cottage is set in peaceful surroundings and has everything you would want for a self catering holiday. There are lots of attractive places to visit in the area and the owners have obviously worked hard to provide quality accommodation with nice personal touches. After a busy day exploring coast, castles, gardens or countryside it was good to sit outside and watch the horses and wild rabbits in the field behind the cottage.
