Cozy beach cottage in Magnolia

Enjoy the huge wrap around porch at our cozy beach cottage just blocks from the beach. Perfect for family gathering or just a "get away". All that you need is provided for a stress free vacation. Unwind at the beach, spend time at the Indianola Fishing Marina while fishing, eating and listening to live music or explore the fishing piers and monuments. Magnolia beach is a wonderful place to vacation. Drive up parking on the beach, boat access, crabbing bridge, clean restroom, kayak rental and great fishing. Our vacation home is in a quiet neighborhood, only 4 blocks to beach and has central a/c and heat, wifi, smart TV, games for kids, full size kitchen with all appliances. Great trout and red fish fishing in the bay or off the Indianola Fishing Marina. We also have a fish cleaning station and bbq pit. Close to Port O'Connor and short trip to Port Aransas. We offer nightly rental, with a two night minimum stay, weekly rental and monthly rental, up to two month booking in winter months of October-March. We cover up to $100 of electric bill for monthly renters, renters are responsible for remaining amount before departure of home. We offer trash pick-up, all trash must be bagged and placed in outside trash can.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Cozy Beach Cottage

The property was as advertised. Fishing from the public pier was excellent, caught a lot of black drum. Definitely must stop down at the marina for dinner and make sure you bring your fishing pole.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Tonya and Martin are great hosts and respond quickly although there was seldom a need to contact them as the property is well appointed and generally in good repair. Love the porch and outside areas and all the extras that are there for guest use. Wonderful area with lots of options for walks, fishing, etc. Highly recommend this property for longer stays.

Not just a beach house.

When you first get to the house that wrap around porch is really nice . The decorations inside and outside wear charming. This house was cozy and felt like home . Also we enjoyed the beds very comfortable and house was very clean . We would stay again .

Perfect place for our family's last getaway before all are off. The porch which was in the shade most of the day was a favorite spot! 😍 And of course the beach and fishing was so fun! A great house!

Awesome property, everything we needed to enjoy our stay was available. Only thing I didn't like was that I had to take my trash with me everyday and find a dumpster nearby. Other than that property is very cozy and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay in Magnolia Beach. It was just the escape from our busy lives that we need. The house was stocked with everything from kitchen utensils to plenty of blankets and sheets to board games. All we had to do was show up with our food and clothes! We will be back!! :)

Nice and quiet and relaxing

We really enjoyed the quiet, the porch and nice neighbors. They were just a few things that need to be updated. There were no batteries for the livingroom ceiling fan/light. The Wii also had dead batteries. The owners were very quick to answer any questions on the VRBO app.

50th Birthday celebration vacation

I decided to celebrate my 50th Birthday ( Normally it is just another day for me ) at the coast with my kids and grandkids , looked over multiple listings and decided on this one because the reviews were all excellent. Well add me and my family to the list of excellent reviews , we absolutely loved this place. I have worked in full service hotels and resorts for over 15 years , the successful properties all have a couple of things that make them better then the rest ( 1 ) Clean Property , this house is well kept and was clean & comfy ( 2 ) Make your guest fell like they are at home and they will want to come back , We were so relaxed here , had everything we needed including games and activities for kids , Great BBQ Pit , Porch was very relaxing. We made some great memories this past weekend and we will be returning one day soon. Thank You

Great family spot

From start to finish this was a great house. The owners communicated to welcome us the morning of our reservation. I had questions about fishing, they responded within 20 min. The check-in was super simple. These owners want you to feel at home, as they allow you to use the house as if it is your own: spices in the kitchen, pots/pans, shampoo, laundry machines, etc. The kids and us really enjoyed the journal (you'll understand when you rent), was such a nice such! The house is initmate, cozy, and you do NOT feel spread out. You come as a family/group, and you feel that together'ness. All of the reviewers raves about the outside porch, and it does not disappoint. The kids played soccer and volleyball in the yard about a day at the beach/pool, they enjoyed the yard, shady trees, etc. There is a small fenced in area if you bring your pet. There is literally nothing I can say I would change. Everywhere we needed to go was within a 20 min drive. The walmart/HEB was close. The bleach/splashpad for the kids was near the walmart. Fishing was in multiple locations, within 15-20 min. Everything was really close. There is a General store 45 seconds away from the house for simple items (we did not go in, forgot to). Internet worked just find. We would def recommend this house to others who stay in Port Lavaca.

Magnolia beach Hoffman family vacation 2025

We had a blast at Magnolia beach! Lots of fishing at chocolate bayou, magnolia beach fishing marina, and the port lavaca pier! Even whent swimming at the port lavaca community pool! Tonjas house is amazing, and neighbor Judy is such a doll! It was a great place to stay and a wonderful home base while we were down there having fun! Will definitely book this house again in the future!
