This, recently refurbished, 3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom villa is located in the quite residential area of Montana Roja in Playa Blanca.
Situated within a 20 minute stroll to the local town where you will find an excellent selection of bars & restaurants. For convenience there is a small supermarket 2 minutes walk from the villa.
Villa Sara is perfect for families wanting to enjoy the fantastic outdoor space, or couples who are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday.
The villa is set over 2 floors. On the ground floor you are welcomed into the large bright lounge/dining area, with patio doors leading out onto the huge garden area where there is a dining table that can seat eight and a spacious outdoor corner sofa that both sit under a large pergola. There are also comfortable sun loungers, a canarian BBQ, pool table and a 8 x 4 heated pool with roman steps. In the evening the garden is transformed by the outdoor lighting. There are high walls all around the villa which make it private and secure.

Inside the villa there is a spacious air-conditioned/heated lounge/dining area with 2 sofas comfortably seating 6 and an additional dining table and chairs. There is a large lcd tv with free 600mb fibre optic wifi and a full tv package that has all English channels ,including sports and movies. There is also a dvd player and a Bluetooth speaker.
The lounge leads on to a new fully equipped modern kitchen and a utility room with a washing machine and dishwasher.
Downstairs is a double bedroom with air-con/heating and a separate shower room with a walk in shower, sink and wc.
Upstairs there is a bright twin bedroom with air-con, a second bathroom with a walk in shower ,wc and sink and the master double bedroom. The master bedroom has air con/heating a large walk-in wardrobe and patio doors which lead on to a balcony that has a bistro table and chairs with amazing views of Montana Roja.
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and all rooms have brand new remote control led ceiling fans. there is also a safe for all your valuables.
Beach towels are included.
Villa price is based on 4 people sharing, extra guests charged at £15 per person per night.

We had a great holiday at Villa Sara. The villa was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our 19 day stay. It was very clean and the pool temperature was great. The location of the villa is very good. We had a car and used Lidl for all our shopping which was just a couple of minutes away. The walk to town was only 20mins. We used the car most of the time as parking was easy and free. The taxi service Sara recommended was excellent and arrived within a few minutes. It was also very cheap. The outside area is very big and the new outdoor dinning table was lovely. Very comfortable sun beds and we enjoyed playing pool. We had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely return.

Amazing clean well equipped villa, nice walk to all amenities of Playa Blanca and the beach. Showers were excellent and beds comfy. Air conditioning provided comfortable sleeping. Kitchen had everything you could need. Lots of space inside and out. Sunbeds were so comfy. Had a small issue with air conditioning but Brett sorted it out really quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday

Had everything we needed, the pool was great, some of the sunbeds were on their last legs but didn’t stop us enjoying our time around the pool. We loved hanging out outside, which was hidden from the wind. The pool table was a great bonus! Great time.

Fabulous villa, great outdoor space and pool. Villa spotlessly clean and has everything you would need. Air conditioning and fans in all rooms. Pleasant 20-25 minute walk into playa Blanca were there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in beautiful surroundings only complaint we have is we didn't stay long enough. We will definitely be back in the future. Top tip there is a great cash & carry just across the road were you can buy things individually at great prices.

Villa Sara - wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Sara, the gardens especially were absolutely beautiful, a lovely warm pool and plenty of space to run around and for our boys to play football. Location wise it was perfect, walking distance (5 mins) to a mini supermarket and cash and carry. We didn’t walk into town as it was a bit far for our 5 year old but taxis were easy to get so we used them almost daily. The only tiny thing I would say is that the twin beds were a little bit hard, I’m sure they would be fine for children but as we have a child who won’t sleep unless he is with his dad, I ended up on the twin beds! This is minor and we would still definitely return to this beautiful villa. Thank you Sara for having us.

The villa was ok not a great area too far from bars and shops , luckily taxis on the island are very efficient and inexpensive. Very disappointed with pool big garden with a tiny pool. Towels provided were not good the bath towels were ok if you are about 4 feet 10 . Beach towels provided very cheap and not effective at drying. We had ants in the lounge and kitchen work surfaces. Bed sheet in main bedroom was not big enough and came off every night

Hi Lisa, I am sorry that your stay at Villa Sara did not meet your expectations. However, it is clearly stated on the website that the villa is a 15-20 minute walk into town and the size of the pool 8m x 4m is also clearly stated. Most pools in villas here are 7m x 3m or can be smaller plunge pools, so ours is relatively large by comparison. The garden is extremely large and can make the pool appear smaller. In relation to the towels, they are standard size bath and hand towel as are the beach towels. If you had spoken to our management team, they could have tried to resolve this and sourced some bigger towels for you, they are very helpful and their numbers were on the information sheets you received. I am not sure why the bed sheet did not fit properly but our management team could have arranged for it to be replaced. In regards to the ants, Lanzarote is a tropical climate and you will get the odd tiny ant come into the villa from outside, especially if food or crumbs are dropped or left laying around. Again if you had called the management team they could have sorted this for you if you felt this was a problem. I hope this did not impact your holiday too much as we pride ourselves on how clean and well equipped we keep our villa for our guests Best Wishes Sara

Family break

Property is well maintained, clean and has all of the facilities you so often don’t have in a holiday let. Outside - Various seating areas in and out the sun, sun beds, dining table etc. The Shaded corner lounging space was brilliant for a peaceful coffee in the morning or shelter from the sun in the afternoon.We’ve stayed in lots of villas and the pool was a great size for a family of five, decent depth and perfect heated temperature..faultless!Inside - All the little touches made Villa Sara just a great home from home. None of the usual annoying things missing. Location - Approx 10mins into the town, parking is free near enough everywhere.Walking in the evening was the only drag, it’s almost too short to get a cab but it’s 25mins walk and with a 4 yr old it was a bit of a push! Cabs were difficult as limited ability to take 5 passengers and wouldn’t accept a 4 year old on your lap. Therefore, you then have to take two taxis (we just walked it every night to save the faff).In summary, we had a fantastic break and I highly recommend.

Beautiful modern property in a peaceful location but close enough to centre and beach.

Villa Sara really is a lovely modern spacious property with an amazing outdoor area that isn’t overlooked. We opted for pool heating which was well worth it as on previous trips in Easter we have been unable to be in the pools much...I can rarely get in a pool unless I am about to melt but this time we were all in there everyday the temperature was lovely! The area itself is quiet and residential but using the shortcut it only took us 20 minutes to be in Playa Blanca centre which has lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Marina Rubicon is particularly nice and well worth a visit. We were well looked after during our stay with a linen/towel change mid week and Brett was able to give us info about the local area and a useful taxi number. The only (very minor) things that could have been improved were the large wardrobes in the master bedroom could do with having some shelving lower down, and the tv, whilst having every single channel we struggled to get a good signal on live streaming channels. Overall we would definitely recommend this property and location, perfect for families or people who want to have a more peaceful kind of holiday.

Sunny delight

Was here with daughter and son in law. Property was fabulous. Plenty of everything you needed. Garden was great as was heated pool. Made full use of Barbie and pool table. Plenty of seating options outside with 8 sunbeds. Lovely balcony from main bedroom. Twin room small but adequate., we didnt need it. Was in a quiet area as described but a wee shop 2 mins away turning left as you come out villa and cross the path behind recycling bins. Shop across rd to the left, with Lidl a 4 min drive. Walk to the beach and all the busyness was 20mins if you turn left then right at bottom of street where you will see petrol station in distance ahead. Just follow cycle lane behind and your there. Then 4 taxi of which were plentiful back to villa. We all had a great time and agreed we would definetly book this lovely villa again. Tip: if you are travelling back on Easyjet on the sunday flight at noon. Allow yourself plenty of time as we queued for over an hour due to there being 5 EJ flights all leaving within the hour in the same queue!

Sadly not a peaceful area, noise from the school, the rubbish/recycling bins at the front of the villa and people allowing theirs dogs to bark continually. The villa was nice and clean with lots of outside space.

Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich. Was zu bemängeln ist, dass es im Treppenhaus keinen Handlauf gibt (sehr gefährlich, in Deutschland nicht zulässig), genau wie es kein Geländer am Pool gibt, der wird aber seit gestern neu gemacht und vielleicht wird ein Geländer installiert. Was uns sehr genervt hat, sind die Pfannen (sehr zerkratzt, keine Teflonbeschichtung mehr) in der Küche und die Anzahl der Gläser. Nicht einmal zwei gleiche Weingläser und keine Whiskeygläser. Nur zwei Kunststoffbecher für den Pool, wobei ein Becher defekt war. Bei der Kapselmaschine war der Wassertank undicht. Ein Hinweis auf der Website der Villa Sara, dass die Klimaanlage mit 1 und 2 Euro gefüttert werden muß, damit sie läuft, wäre ein guter Hinweis. Dann kann man im Vorfeld auch Kleingeld mitnehmen.

In regards to the glasses, we are constantly replacing them due to breakages and it is not always possible the get the same ones to match. We have replaced the two frying pans that were slightly worn and all our saucepans are stainless steel so have no coating on them. We have also replaced the coffee machine that had developed a leak. This is brand new and was only installed in December. We have had no issues with any other guests so are not sure why you thought it was unusable, but as I said if you had made the management team aware they would have tried to solve the problem for you. Sehr schönes Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub

Das Haus ist sehr schön, modern eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Der große Garten hat überdachte Sitzecken und einen angenehm beheizten Pool. Der Kontakt zu Sara und ihrem Management Jodie und Brett war schnell, unkompliziert und hilfreich. In der Nähe des Hauses befindet sich fußläufig ein kleiner, recht gut sortierter Supermarkt und das Lokal El Tonel mit leckeren und günstigen Tapas, Burgern, Pizzen und Pasta. Ein Auto oder Fahrräder sind dennoch von Vorteil, da Hafen, Strand und Einkaufspromenade ein paar Kilometer entfernt sind. Wir haben uns in der Villa Sara sehr wohl gefühlt, danke für die tollen Urlaubstage, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa with a massive garden area & lovely pool. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool for hours & the pool table was an added bonus. The villa had everything we needed. It was a very short 2 minute walk to the corner shop and a pleasant 20 min stroll into Playa Blanca centre. We absolutely loved our week there and would definitely book again if in the area. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Well kept house - nice and clean. Pool and pool table were great as was the view from the balcony and easy walk into town. A couple of extra blankets would have been nice for when sitting on the couch late evening/early morning. The WiFi was really poor - kept cutting out every couple of minutes and so weak that you couldn't even watch the news. We had to resort to hot-spotting with our phones when wanting to email. Had a lovely time for mum’s birthday!

Sara was very helpful during these current Covid restrictions. The villa has everything you need, however it was a little dusty and had to give it a good clean when we arrived. Extra charge for pool as well which would have been nice to be included in cost of villa. Overall though happy with villa and area.

Beautiful Villa

Considering the circumstances of travel during this time, Sara was very helpful when booking the villa and answered all our questions we had before travel. Arriving at the villa we soon realised that we had made a great choice and the villa is simply stunning. We opted for the heated pool for the kids and Brett the property manager made sure this was set before we arrived. The kids never wanted to get out!! The villa was very clean and has all the basics you require including a washing machine and dishwasher. Its deceptively big, which was great considering we had two children with us, we didn't feel like we were all on top of each other. The garden is massive with artificial grass for the kids to run around on with the extra touch of night time lighting which made for lovely evenings sitting on the out door furniture enjoying a glass of wine. The BBQ was used regularly. A convenience shop is literally 2 mins walk away which was very useful. We did find that with young children, a walk to the beach front or Playa Flamingo was just a bit too far, around 25mins or so. There are plenty of great beaches nearby but our favourite was Papagayo beach which was as short drive away. All in all a great villa, great experience and awesome holiday had by the family. We will definitely be heading back to Villa Sara in future. All the best
