All was as good as hoped. Very clean and conveniently located to the lake. Quiet setting. Very low key stay that fit our needs perfectly. Check-in was easy. A key code on the door arrived via e-mail so we were able to quickly and easily let ourselves in when we arrived. The place was extremely clean, which was much appreciated. The unit was basically a duplex and suspect hot water is shared. Unfortunately the neighbors seemed to beat us to the showers and I had about 2.5 minutes of warm water., but that’s just a logistical hurdle that didn’t really sour our stay. Thanks again!
Cabin was OK, but we did see one roach and the cabin needs some structural attention. There's a soft spot in the floor in the threshold going into the bathroom. However, we were basically only there to sleep and the beds were really comfortable.
Overall the cabin was great, San Augustine boat ramp is super close. We cooked on the grill- bring tin foil! There was some kitchen items, but honestly we were there to fish, so we did, a lot. The store with a kitchen and dining area was perfect and nearby, so that was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

Cabin 5
Very plain little cabin, very clean, comfy bed, easy to get to,nice grounds, would def recommend to friends and we would def stay again..just wish we could bring our small dog..maybe ask for pet deposit and limit the size of dogs...just an opinion
I have staying in or visited people in just about every cabin on the property. They are all very clean and comfortable. The owners are great folks and always quick to respond with answers to your questions. I've personally stayed in this cabin several times. It's a perfect cabin to stay in for a weekend of fishing or even just to get away. This is definitely a place to check out.
We stayed here during a tournament for the HSBA. We only stayed one night but the place was nice. They don’t have towels so make sure you bring your own.
Very nice cabin and setup at the camp. Plenty of space and very clean. Good facilities for fish cleaning and charging boats. Restaurant/store/gas station all in one right there was very convenient with good food and very friendly staff. Communication with camp owner was excellent and they were able to get us in our cabin early. My only comment, which did not relate to us as we were a group of 2, was that online it says it sleeps 6. It has 2 queen beds which can sleep 4 but to sleep 6 you need other arrangements.

Donald, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The "sleeps 6" is the maximum number of guests we allow in this cabin and not related to the beds provided. Many guests want to bring sleeping bags or blow up mattresses and load the cabin up, to keep from paying for a larger cabin.
Thanks, Robin

We had an awesome time! The cabin was perfect .
I took my grandfather and son on a last minute overnight fishing trip and this cabin was perfect. It is close to San Agustin Park which was right where we wanted to be. Great place to hang out and make memories.
