Joyce's Place is a quaint 3 unit property on fabulous Gulf Boulevard in Indian Shores, Florida. Gulf Boulevard runs through the center of the narrow strip of land that is flanked by the Gulf of Mexico on the west and the Inter-coastal Waterway on the east.

A beautiful vista before you from the entire top floor of this penthouse suite. All the amenities for a relaxing beach retreat. Two Beautifully appointed balconies face both east for the sunrise and west for the sunset for breathtaking views. This is a luxurious, updated 2000 sq. ft. three bedroom, two bath, with large living room, dining room that seats six and a fully stocked kitchen. So what are you waiting for? You deserve it, book it now!

All guests at Joyce's will enjoy the quiet and endless beach, or the pool and deck. Whether you crave sun or shade, there are comfortable areas around the property for your leisure. A top quality barbecue grill, beach chairs, umbrellas and pool toys are all provided for your enjoyment.

I contacted the host for help with a couple of issues and she addressed them immediately. The size of the unit is huge! The size of the balcony is also very large.

The only reason this place is 4 stars is because the listing was more than misleading about the unit. To use their response ‘it’s an older unit’. Without a doubt a great location and a fabulous space. And we’d happily rent it again.

Advertised as having an elevator, however upon arrival we’re told it hasn’t worked in quite a long time. Primary shower had to be repaired while we were there and second toilet rocked as it was not secure. Many repairs and maintenance needs.

The views were beautiful from the balconies on both sides of the house! The areas were large and open. The furniture and decor were outdated but everything was functional. There were a few things that didn’t work very well, but I have taken that up with the property manager.

Life on the Beach

Stayed at this rental on a long vacation with my boys. It is a large three bedroom space with all of the amenities you can need. Within walking distance of good food, too.The beach access is amazing. The pool is heated and clean as well.Would stay here again.

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of Carter Vacation strengths in the rental industry. I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel in Boston. I was instantly fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding new ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so, I was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I became the General Manager of some well-known hotels and upscale boutique inns. During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa Florida, I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…I was hooked. This became my new passion and career. My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started. My team and I have worked hard over the years and I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suits each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep Carter Vacation Rental business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. I, along with my team understand the importance of anticipating the guest's needs as well as treating each guest with complete respect during their vacation getaway.
