The charming home is a 3 bedroom 2 full bath that's been professionally decorated and has exotic tiger hardwood flooring throughout the home, with every detail thought of. The property is on 1 acre completely enclosed with privacy fencing. The elaborate gardens include a Koi pond complete with waterfall and babbling brook. In the evening, the outdoor landscape lighting automatically comes on at dusk, illuminating the outdoor space and pond so you're able to see the gardens and fish swimming at night. During the day watch overhead for Osprey bringing their fresh catch from the bay back to their nest in the park. The 30 acre park adjacent to the home has 2 soccer fields, 1 football field and 3 baseball fields. There is also a gazebo for picnic lunches and a brand new playground for the kids! The park has a walking / running track around the perimeter. Due to the park being adjacent to the house, there is total seclusion for entertaining or quiet time. The beach is down the street with an additional (waterfront) playground next to it. Nothing like being on a swing just feet from the water! There are 4 marinas in a 1 mile radius so, feel free to rent or bring your own boat! I hear time and time again from guests that the photo's don't do the home and property justice! We have had three TV shows filmed on this property. We look forward to your stay with us!

I’ve stayed at many VRBO homes and this was by far the best I’ve experienced. Very well appointed, wonderful backyard experience (We loved the outside lights at night and the koi pond!). Was in town to visit with kids and grandchildren and this was a relaxing and delightful stay. Jodi was lovely and responsive. Well deserving of five stars in every level!

We love the property and the location the activities. Just a 15 minute ride to Annapolis. Jodi was great and very responsive. She told us about a bar/restaurant (coconut joes)that was literally around the corner that became our favorite! Felt like we were on a tropical island.

The house was very clean and the communication with Jodi was excellent! She was very responsive and helpful with our questions. The location is great as well if you’re visiting Annapolis, Baltimore or DC. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to roam and the neighborhood is good for walks. The pond was so peaceful as well. Overall a great place to stay if you’re in the area!

Lovely getaway

This property is absolutely lovely. It is well appointed and has everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially appreciated the lovely decorative touches throughout the house. The deck and backyard were just wonderful. Since it was fully fenced in our dog was able to run and explore while we enjoyed eating outside in absolutely lovely surroundings. We will be sure to stay again when we are in the area.

Great House, Even Greater Backyard

The house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5. My children thoroughly enjoyed the huge backyard, and there is a park right next door to the house so that was also very enjoyable. We were exactly 19 minutes away from Annapolis Naval Academy. We also took a 1 hour drive to see the Great Falls of the Potomac. It was a great location. The property owner was awesome and gave me great information and tips on the area.

Lovely home and property

Lovely home in lovely neighborhood. Clean and comfortable for the six of us. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, plus welcoming extras. Beds were very comfortable. Lori was a fabulous host and available to answer questions and make local recommendations. And the outside areas were beautiful, including the expansive backyard with multiple seating areas. We had a rainy weekend and wish we could have enjoyed the outside spaces more.

Memorable Experience

Upon arriving at this property, my wife and I fell in love with the surrounding area and everything that the property offered. The location is excellent for an escape or a relaxing reset and isn't too far from dining and other attractions. From sitting by the koi pond to taking trips around Edgewater and nearby Annapolis, we were able to experience one of the most memorable trips of our lives. The host, Jodi, was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. After booking, Jodi notified us that she could arrange a private charter at sunset with a four-course dining experience. The charter was the highlight of our trip and we were blown away by the dishes served while on board. Jodi, along with the chef and crew provided us with an elegant evening on the water. We highly recommend staying with Jodi and look forward to booking with her in the future.

How do I begin to express our thanks, appreciation and satisfaction with Jodi’s home?From the moment I made the reservation, we were impressed with the responsiveness to our reservation, as well as genuine concern to make our stay the most comfortable one possible. The home is absolutely beautiful… From the moment you get out of the car you will be met with the charming home behind a sweet picket fence and lovely landscaping. Then you walk in the front door and you are met with these gorgeous hardwood floors in the most comfortable setting. There an are so many “little touches” all around the home that make you feel so welcome. The house is beyond clean and it is obvious so much care as gone into making this your home away from home. The backyard is a destination all its own. The location of the home is ideal as well…restaurants, tourist attractions, grocery stores/shopping, the water, Annapolis….the list goes on and on. A very safe neighborhood, with the most lovely park to go walking. We are very grateful to Jodi, for making our stay more comfortable and positive than we ever could have imagined. Thank you thank you thank you for everything!

Annapolis Visit

The house is very pleasant and comfortable. It’s in an area with lots of restaurants, shopping and a short drive into Annapolis. The area is very quiet with a park outside the front gate. It’s a great area to walk around and the water is fairly close. The back yard is fun and relaxing. The owner is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Nice spot for a family gathering

This home offered enough space for our family to gather from 3 different states. 5 of us slept very comfortably and we were able to sit and visit and enjoy each others' company. Parking in front of the home is available for 2 cars. The home is an easy drive to the Naval Academy and to the football stadium, and there are a variety of restaurants nearby. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to cook our own meals. We were able to bring our dogs and they really enjoyed the large backyard where they could run. Our family would recommend this home and would stay here again if in the area!

Beautiful home and wonderful host

I had a wonderful stay here - the home was so clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Jodi (the host) was so welcoming, and it was clear that she had put a lot of thought into ensuring a great stay - including restaurant recommendations, an easy check in, and even tailoring her recs to dog-friendly places. And the yard! Absolutely gorgeous and relaxing, especially with the mature trees, thoughtful touches (like the swing), and the koi pond. My dog loved it - I literally had to pick him up to get him back inside each time! The neighborhood was also great, with a lot of local stores and restaurants, and it was close to beaches and other attractions. It's a bit off the radar, but we went to Historic London Town one day which was super close, and had beautiful gardens and replicas/museum/history from the 1700s - highly recommend this - it was dog friendly too! Overall, just a wonderful and welcoming stay!
