The host was very welcoming. They were communicative and left clear instructions. They even put up some Christmas decorations that made the stay even more fun! We had a great trip!
Rustic cabin full of charm. Beautiful spot for star gazing with added benefits of sauna and log burner. Comfortable bed with tea and coffee supplied which was a nice touch.
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is very cozy and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The sauna was our favorite part—it’s the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!
Just a quick overnight in nearby Flagstaff. The sauna was a dream come true. The cabin is perfectly sized, efficient, and adorable. Super easy to find with Google maps. Host Mahesh was responsive to questions. Would absolutely stay here again.
We'd like to thank the property owner for a very enjoyable stay. All was as outlined, easy directions, easy access, clean. We had a wonderful time. The location is quite remote, private and in a great area for outdoor recreation.
This cabin had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We appreciated the quiet location adjacent to Coconino National Forest, the view of the peaks and the proximity to trails & points of interest in Flagstaff. We also appreciated our host's prompt communication style.
We loved it. Peaceful and cold outside but cozy inside. The sauna is a plus and up to five pets is generous. Hiking right in back and the adjustable bed is great
Beautiful cabin. Owner gave very clear instructions on how to work everything and when I had a question they answered right away. It was a great experience and I recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in Flagstaff!
Had a wonderful weekend at this cute, little cabin! We fit three adults, a 3 year old, and two dogs just fine. We spent most of the time outside searching for animals and hiking. The owner responded quickly to any questions and check in/check out was a breeze. Will definitely stay at this location again.
You can tell as soon as you enter the cabin a great deal of thought and work has been put in by the hosts to ensure you enjoy this experience. Both my husband and I felt welcome. The location is fantastic as trails in the Coconino National Park are right outside the door. Our favorite part was sitting on front porch soaking in all nature has to offer.

About the host
Hosted by Mahesh
I am originally from Chicago but have lived in the Arcadia neighborhood since college. We enjoy hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the trails behind the cabins as well as snowboarding and cross country skiing at nearby Snowbowl Resort. Most of our free time over the last couple of years have been taken up on our renovation and hosting of @SaunaHausPhoenix, @AFrameFlagstaff, @TinyCabinFlagstaff, and @TinyCabinTucson using sustainable building practices, recycled materials, and no VOC plant based coatings. All three of us (including our dog Lily) have allergies so we try to keep the cabin as dust and allergen free as possible. It's rewarding to help bring families and friends together from all over the world to enjoy the wonders of Arizona and to share the living experience in our cabins. We also participate in OpenHomes which provides free emergency housing to people displaced by disasters as well the Living Wage Pledge for our team.
Why they chose this property
The property is a great mix of a peaceful rural area with great vistas but 10 minutes from the excitement of a vibrant mountain town and is one of the highest in the country at 7,000 feet in elevation. The summers are warm but not hot like the central Arizona desert. Be prepared for warm summer days (average high is 78 degrees) and chilly nights (average low is 42 degrees)
What makes this property unique
A very quiet secluded country setting with great views of the mountains and in the midst of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forest.
