Everything was clean and tidy, all very cozy! Only wish it was stated how close neighbours were and as well as fences, I had thought it was more secluded but nonetheless, it was very pretty!
We really enjoyed staying at this property! The full kitchen was so nice and we loved the patio spaces. One small suggestion is that the bedding could use replacing. Polyester sheets really bother me personally, and for the price of the stay I would’ve expected better bedding. Other than that, everything was clean and the place seems well cared for!
It was exactly as advertised and absolutely perfect for our group. Communication was great and if work brings us this way again we already know where we will try to stay.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a short birthday trip that turned into an engagement on the back deck under the stars! This cabin is truly special and a unique place. We loved the views and the cozy space, with plenty of snow to enjoy.
Adorable, rustic tiny home. Loved the location and the charm of the place. My only complaint (and it’s hardly a complaint) is that my partner and I are both over 6 ft tall and the bed didn’t quite fit us, especially with the a frame overhang. Otherwise, everything was great. Very clean.
The cabin is an adorable little hiking, dog friendly gem with just enough space and privacy. The access to the national forest, the outdoor space and cozy interior can’t be beat. Contact with the host was easy and prompt. We definitely would stay here again on our way through Flagstaff
We had an amazing time here! Definitely a great place to stay! And we want to come back in the fall. The cabin had everything we needed and our little pup loved every second! It was his first time seeing snow and he was obsessed. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely cabin!
Super soft bed that isn’t level - won’t be a problem for everyone just something to be aware of.Easy to find, good location, very clean and very cool spot.
We stayed here for our honeymoon and didn’t regret it one bit. It was perfect for us and our dogs. We enjoyed the beautiful hikes and wildlife right outside the backdoor. We even adventured out to explore the Sunset Volcano. This spot is perfect because you’re out in nature but just 15 minutes up the road are stores and restaurants.

Great homebase
The owners are wonderful to work with and very organized. Everything was exactly as they said plus some extra nice touches. I had a question during my stay and they were easily reached and helpful.
We stayed at the beautiful cabin for a long weekend to escape the Phoenix heat and it was just perfect! Everything you need in a tranquil setting just 10 minutes to downtown. Our dogs loved sitting on the porch watching the forest behind the house and walking through the quaint neighborhood. We will definitely come back again!

About the host
Hosted by Mahesh
I am originally from Chicago but have lived in the Arcadia neighborhood since college. We enjoy hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the trails behind the cabins as well as snowboarding and cross country skiing at nearby Snowbowl Resort. Most of our free time over the last couple of years have been taken up on our renovation and hosting of @SaunaHausPhoenix, @AFrameFlagstaff, @TinyCabinFlagstaff, and @TinyCabinTucson using sustainable building practices, recycled materials, and no VOC plant based coatings. All three of us (including our dog Lily) have allergies so we try to keep the cabin as dust and allergen free as possible. It's rewarding to help bring families and friends together from all over the world to enjoy the wonders of Arizona and to share the outdoor living experience and sauna benefits at our cabins. We also participate in OpenHomes which provides free emergency housing to people displaced by disasters as well honoring the Living Wage Pledge for our teams.
Why they chose this property
The property is a great mix of a peaceful rural area with great vistas but 10 minutes from the excitement of a vibrant mountain town and is one of the highest in the country at 7,000 feet in elevation. The summers are warm but not hot like the central Arizona desert. Be prepared for warm summer days (average high is 78 degrees) and chilly nights (average low is 42 degrees)
What makes this property unique
A very quiet secluded country setting with great views of the mountains and in the midst of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forest.
