Excellent location, very well equipped, spacious, this is a great base for a family holiday. Plenty of bathrooms, large shared areas, terrace and beach …and beautiful views.

Unbelievable views, very spacious

A dynamite location for a huge gaff to share with your loved ones for a special occasion! Views are incredible. Kitchen very well stocked to accommodate ten people.

Weekend family break

Excellent house set on a beautiful location. Ample space for the10 adults who visited the property. I would highly recommend and it offers great value for money of 10 adults sharing.

Amazing stay

We had a fabulous time. The house was huge and in an amazing location. Kids loved the pool table and the private beach. Just wished we were there for longer.

Fantastic Holiday destination

A spacious, fully equipped, excellently located home. We had such an incredible holiday, including visits to Argyle Coffee, Mount Stuart, Steam boat Waverley, Colintraive and Portavadia. I highly recommend this home, with its private beach, quiet location and amenities. Thank you to the owner for such a lovely home.

A great property in a lovely location

Very comfortable with lots of space. Very well equipped climbing down to the beach needs care but good fun for the children when there. An otter family playing was a bonus.

Fantastic house on the waters edge!

Such a well equipped, clean, tidy with incredible views, right on the waters edge. So quiet with all the facilities as described. Any queries we had were answered straight away by the hosts and any help we might have needed was available. Wonderful place and people. Thank you.

A great place to stay

We loved our stay, the accommodation was perfect and it was great to have so much space! The games room and log fires were well used, as was the beach which was great for swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking. The kitchen had everything we needed and the seating area off it was a stunning place to take in the views. Also great to have board games and books to dip into. The local shop was good for extra supplies, and would highly recommend Kames Hotel for a meal out.

Stunning location, property is amazing

We had the most amazing weekend stay. Although the weather was beautiful, if it had not been we woukd have happily have not left the property, the views and the location is stunning. It's so peaceful and equipped with everything needed, TV, books, games, great kitchen and warm enough with option of log burners which we didn't need because we were so lucky with the weather. Beds are super comfy. Maybe needs a wee paint touch up here and there, but that does not detract from everything else on offer. We ate at Kames Hotel, the selection and food was delicious.

Faultless

This rates as the best house we have stayed in and there have been a few over the years. A lot of thought has gone into the layout so 10 people can stay without it feeling crowded. We were stunned by the views over the loch from the living room, bedrooms and the patio /decking area. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds gave an excellent night's sleep and the bathrooms were luxurious. We made use of the bbq and some of us had a game of pool. Only a 10 min stroll to Kames Hotel was a benefit also. Can't wait to return.

A week's peace

An excellent place with wonderful views Good for total relaxation. Reading, walking along the loch and board games. Not much else to do which suited us. An excellent local shop but glad we took most supplies with us! No welcome pack which was very disappointing. If we hadn't bought teabags we would have been stuck! Shop closes at 6pm!!!!!

Brilliant stay

Our whole extended family had an amazing time at this house. Its in a great location (but a sign on the entrance to the property as you come down the lane would help). In the house there is everything that's needed (more glasses would help). There was some old food / herbs etc which were in the cupboards - these need to be removed for guests. It would help though if they could say what was available like herbs etc to save people buying new things and the not using them. But all in great, and we want to come back.

Absolutely perfect!

The property was outstanding in every way. There were eight of us, across three generations of family, and every single one of us was bowled over with the house. There was enough space and sufficient leisure rooms for us all to have our own space, as well as family space together. In addition to being spotlessly clean, it was modern and expansive, both inside and outside, with excellent facilities... including its own private beach! The views were stunning, and I would recommend this to any group wanting a break. The only thing you can't guarantee is the weather, but it was fun to watch not only the variety of yachts sailing past the house, but also the waves getting bigger and bigger from the loch-view window. In addition to the house being ideal, the letting agents couldn't have been more friendly, efficient, helpful and professional. Their communication with me was excellent, and they went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied at every stage of the process. Can't praise the whole experience enough.

The most beautiful cottage in Tighnabruaich

I have been in this property so many times in the past few years and I do find the cottage absolutely comfortable, tidy and clean. The owner is very kind and immediately ready to support in anyway. I’m looking forward to be there soon again.

Beautiful waterside cottage

Amazing panoramic views over the water. Very comfortable well equipped large house. Just missing a cafatiere. Wouldn't recommend swimming off the beach but a stunning sandy bay at Ostell/Kilbride Bay gave a lovely swim
