FONTANELLA BORGHESE PALACE

The vacation apartment is unique and will make your holidays in Rome absolutely special. The house is located a short distance from some of the most important sights, such as the Pantheon, Ara Pacis, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.

Fontanella Borghese Terrace is an independent holiday home of 300 m2 in the heart of Rome. Spread over 3 floors, guests have access to 5 bedrooms, a kitchen, 5 baths, a hydromassage mini-pool, a double-sized living room and two comfortable terraces.

The ground level with its large living rooms is reserved as the day area, where you will find sofas, LED full-HD TV, and a dining table. The kitchen is completely furnished with an oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a mini gym with indoor bike at your disposal.

A bathroom – with only a bathtub and washing machine – and another guest bathroom – with toilet, bidet and sink – complete this level.

The first floor is reserved as the night area, with lightened oak hardwood floors and three large bedrooms decorated with wooden panels. One bathroom with a bathtub serves these rooms. On the same level, you have access to another double bedroom suspended on an interior balcony with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A common area between the four rooms is furnished with armchairs, which can be used as a studio or a library.

On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom suite with TV and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The suite has direct access to a private terrace, while from the stairs you have access to a splendid terrace, the house’s gem, which offers a splendid view of the numerous cupolas of the many churches in Rome. It will be even more pleasant coming home after visiting the city, knowing that here awaits you this corner of paradise, where you can relax on a sun bed or enjoy a good dinner out in the open: a complete series of garden furniture decorate the terrace area.

The apartment is furthermore equipped with air conditioning, docking station radio, a washing machine and free Wi-Fi Internet connection. It is possible to accommodate 10 persons in total, using the five bedrooms.

Amazing home! Fit our large family of 8 with plenty of room to spread out and be together. We appreciated the washing machines and enjoyed the rooftop! Home is in a great location - walkable to sites and shopping and great restaurants! Home had great AC too. Highly recommend!

The property suited our needs and was very clean and the location was excellent. The only slight complaint we had was the hot water in the upstairs apartment or lack of it.

Awesome Rome Experience

Great location, very easy to work with the owner group. Showers leaked a bit but really not an issue. Again, amazing location. We had 9 adults and it was perfect

Great for large group and location!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! It was nice to be able to have breakfast at "home"before going out to enjoy Rome and all it has to offer. No need for a taxi at this location for most activities. The outdoor terrace was a joy for pre dinner snack and drink. Property management was helpful too.

Best family trip ever!

We absolutely LOVED our time in Rome. The property was perfect for our large family over Christmas. There were enough dishes and supplies that we were even able to cook a couple of meals when things were closed for the holiday. The property and location was perfect and communication with management effortless. Thank you for the most amazing trip!

We were pleased with our accommodations that was managed by ROMAC. Great communication, great location, excellent check in process with very good information about places we should see. Only issue I had were the stairs. There were angles to the stairs I didn’t know about. Overall, we enjoyed our stay ! Thank you!

Stay at Fontanella Borghese

Our group of 9 definitely recommend staying at Fontanella Borghese. The location is ideal for walking to all the major sites while the apartment itself is tucked away on a quiet side street in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of excellent restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk or less. Brian was super to work with prior and during our stay and his personal attention during check in and check out made everything go smoothly. We took advantage of the Chef at Hone option several times and the dinners and breakfast were a highlight of our trip--thanks Chef Sylvia and Chef Andrea! We look forward to staying here on our next visit!

Enjoy Roma from the Rooftop

The apartment is as presented and described. Lovely main floor with lots of space and room to sit a large group at the dining room table and in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped and has good quality appliances. Check-in was not convenient as we were travelling to Rome that day and there was little ability to drop luggage when we arrived. This is less of an issue with all adults likely. We had three children and car seats as well. Communication was ok. Rooftop patio is lovely also. We enjoyed our stay.

Rome family trip

This is a great property to stay at while in Rome! Location is key and we were able to walk to everything. Definitely recommend this area and despite being in the heart of Rome the property was quite and not on a busy street. This property is also large and a very good layout for a party wanting some space separation between bedrooms as well as plenty of bathrooms. The rooftop deck and courtyard were also quite nice. Upon arrival it was clean and up to our expectations. Finally, the property manager is super great to work with which is really helpful when planning a trip abroad. We had lots of questions in advance of arriving, including tour guide recommendations, train/airport transfer, etc. and they were always very quick to respond and helpful - A+ job. Overall our family had a great trip to Rome and this property and its management was an important part of that.

Christmas in Rome

The location of this property makes this a good Vrbo property . The management staff is professional , courteous abs responsive . The apartment alto large is desperate need of repair and upgrading . Furniture is minimal and uncomfortable . Lighting is horrific , very very dark except for the main room that the track lighting is so bright it’s awful . Need to invest in a few table lamps. The kitchen was cold , dark , dirty and unwelcoming . Garbage bags provided are so thin the garbage fell out the bottom of the bags. The location and management Dave this place

Amazing Apartment!

We could not have been happier with this apartment. Rome Accommodation staff were efficient, professional, and kind. It is very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed, comfy beds, lots of bathrooms and privacy for our group of 8. The location was so close to restaurants and attractions Loved the terrace and sat out every night drinking wine. Two things to share from one Mom to others… there are two large marble staircases from bottom floor to third floor. Sharp edges and very dark at night. One day I went up and down 16 times thats over 1300 stair step before 18, 000 steps walking around Rome. Not a problem but glad I brought comfy shoes. Second, we did not realize there was no dryer until we got there. We packed very light so it got a little tight when clothes were not dry in time. Not a big deal. Next time we will bring more clothes dryers do not seem that common in Italy. We would stay here again in a heart beat and highly recommend this apartment. Grazie!

50th Anniversary Rome Extravaganza

The property was everything advertised and much more! Fabulous location in the triangle formed by the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish steps, and surrounded by restaurants and shops, this marvelous apartment had all the bedrooms, baths, kitchen and living space for our 9 family members across three generations. Brian was an unbelievable concierge, and had great suggestions for food and activities. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Don’t pass this up!!

Quiet and very convenient location

Apt is located on a quiet side street which is easy walking distance to a lot of tourist sites, groceries & shopping. Just a few minutes to Sant'Eustachio for coffee! The listing said there were 6 bedrooms, but one that is just off the kitchen had been converted to a fitness room and did not have a bed. Housekeeping brought in a folding bed before 8pm our first day there, but if you need 6 bedrooms I would recommend contacting ROMAC before arriving to make sure that's set up. Our 2 contacts from ROMAC - Alessia and Brian - were both exceptional. The terrace was amazing, but we stayed during a heat wave in August so we were more appreciative of the air conditioning inside - which worked very well. Sofas are very comfortable & we fell asleep on them a few times.

Great Accomodation is Perfect Location

This place was perfect for our multigenerational family’s visit to Rome. The rooftop terrace was a real treat in the early mornings and evenings. It is close to a small market and many restaurants. There were plenty of kitchen supplies like plates and nice wine glasses. We used the washer quite a bit since the temperatures were high while we were there. We were able to get the clothes dry by using the drying rack and hangers. Be prepared for lots of steps. It is a great location!

Beautiful large home with perfect location

This home had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Our family of 9 enjoyed the fact that we could spread out and relax with plenty of privacy. The location is extremely convenient, minutes away from the Spanish Steps. Plenty of coffee was supplied, plus a bag of treats and fresh flowers, which was a big plus. The rooftop area was perfect for a glass of wine before dinner. Our host was able to check us in early, which helped us maximize our first day in town. I highly recommend this beautiful property!

Wir hatten mit zwei Familien (9 Personen) Platz im Überfluss. Alles super ausgestattet, modern, sauber und in Schuss… Die Lage geht kaum besser für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen, alle major-Attraktionen fussläufig zu erreichen. Die Betreuung vor Ort war super: auch bei touristisch/organisatorischen Fragen wurde uns sofort geholfen …. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmsten empfehlen !
