Come experience a stay at Sweet Home 30A, the beautiful 3-bedroom/2-bunk room home conveniently located along 30A in Prominence! This unique property is in the perfect location, just steps separating you from the happening activities at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub), directly across 30A from the 5,000 sq ft pool, and only a quick bike to the beach, you are sure to enjoy this modern home with pristine finishes. Plus, your stay includes the fantastic amenity of 4 complimentary bikes, allowing you to explore the scenic surroundings with ease.

As you pull into Sweet Home 30A, you are welcomed by a darling front porch you can enjoy at all times of the day. Stepping into the home, you enter into an open-concept floor plan with a large dining, sitting, and kitchen area great for all types of entertaining. The living room has plenty of space with extra seats to pull up at any moment (not to mention a queen pullout couch). The dining room seats up to 8, with 4 stools at the kitchen island, and the kitchen has a large island for gathering around at breakfast or preparing meals. Directly off of this family/living area is a conveniently located half bath.

Also on the 1st floor, you will find a large king master suite. Directly connected to this room is a large master bath with a walk-in shower, closet, and double vanity. Steps from the master suite, you find a spacious laundry room.

Moving up to the 2nd floor, you will find 2 more guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with a connecting full bathroom, and the other has 2 full beds. Bunkroom “nooks” located off the upstairs hallway are a sweet characteristic of this home. One nook holds a twin bunk bed sleeping 2 more of your guests, and the other has a twin bed. The kids will love these rooms!

Sweet Home 30A is roughly 1 mile (about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride) to both a public beach access as well as Deer Lake State Park.

Family Vacation

The property was a perfect fit for our group of 8 people. We really enjoyed the Prominence neighborhood. It was very cozy and was a great location to enjoy biking and enjoying a nice, relaxing visit to the pool. It is a short drive to multiple beach access points. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful house in a great clocation!

Our stay was perfect with this house! We loved the accommodations! The neighborhood is connected to the HUB allowing for convenience to shopping, dinning and entertainment for all ages. The pool was beautiful! We highly recommend this property, as well as the Benchmark Management service.

The 30A is a treat no matter where you go. This house was big, clean ad everything was great. Our oven had some operational issues, but besides that everything went well.

Property is great and clean with great ammenities. Great location and access to the Chill. Access to the beach requires driving. Description on property is misleading. We would not have rented the unit without a walkable beach access. Closest access is 1.1mi with very limited parking if you dont arrive early. With newly limited access to the beach on 30A, there is not enough parking at public beaches to accommodate all those trying to access the beach. No access to grills when raining. When pools are closed due to weather, access to grills is closed also. Check in lacked pool info and we had issues with door code. Property Manager was available and responded quickly however it made for a frustrating check in after a long drive. I only recommend this unit and area if you are looking to spend most of your time at the Chill and pool. If you enjoy full days at the beach, I do not recommend.

Not walking distance to beach (as described) and very dirty rugs and furniture

All rugs were filthy and need to be either replaced or power washed. We originally booked this beach house because it said it was a 15 minute WALK to the beach. This is 100% inaccurate. It is about a 5 minute drive + a 15 minute walk (only access they provided was Deer Lake State park). We were incredibly disappointed when discovering this as we have 2 small children and grandparents joining us.

The living room furniture is showing some wear, so may need to be replaced before long, but everything else was pristine. We will return.

The home was in great condition and the garage amenities were a great addition. The management company was quick to fix a toilet and deliver extra sheets for the couch bed. Beach access is the only downside, but we LOVED riding bikes each day down 30A!

"We had a mixed but overall pleasant stay at this VRBO. The location is excellent, with a beautiful beach just a short drive away, and the host's communication was top-notch—they made the check-in process incredibly smooth. The community itself was lovely, and we enjoyed our time there.On the other hand, the cleanliness was a disappointment. The home felt like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. We found unvacuumed floors, sticky countertops, and sand and trash under the sofa cushions. For a home that accommodates 13 people, we were also surprised by the lack of basic supplies. We quickly ran out of toilet paper (only one roll per bathroom), and there were no trash bags, coffee filters, or cleaning supplies.The listing mentions a "game room," but it's important for future guests to know this is in the garage without AC, and the games and equipment are old and broken. Also, while the beach is beautiful, it's not a walkable distance if you have kids or beach gear; you'll need to drive and find public parking, which can be limited.With a bit more attention to cleaning and stocking basic supplies, this property has the potential to be a 5-star stay, so we had to give it a 3."

Great vacation despite issues…

Location was great! House is spacious and practically brand new. Beds were very comfortable. Had a great time with the family. Property management can definitely do better. Their responsiveness pre-stay and during was not great. Pool code did not work. There was no info on how to open the garage or code info for the bike locks. The property was not well stocked at all. We had to buy EVERYTHING. There was nothing in there. Additionally, we had no bedding for the pull out couch for one of our guests. We called property management and they never responded till late afternoon the next day so our guest had no sheets or blanket the first night. I would definitely come back to this area but will use another property.

There was a lot of staining on the sofa's, carpets, to bed linen and comforters. The location itself was deceiving because at first glance it is close to the beach but it's a mile plus drive to the state park entrance and then probably another mile to the actual beach. We ended up driving to a different beach further up the coast. For a place that can accommodate 10+ people one would think that there would be sufficient toilet paper and paper towels. There were no additional toilet paper and paper towels except for what was hanging. No extra trash bags.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb and VRBO properties. This house was very limited with their kitchen ware as well as there was only 1 dishwasher pod. Toilet paper and paper towels were just what was left on the rolls. TV’s cable was poor. Codes they provided for pool were not correct. They had changed on 7/4 and we arrived on 7/9. There was not a crock pot and fridge door/ice was broke and we reported right away and no one even attempted to fix it. For what we paid for this property-it wasn’t worth it at all.

Close to the big chill

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful- large and clean. The front porch was a wonderful place to gather. The house looked new- very appealing. We were close to the pool and the big chill. Very convenient. We accessed the beach via the park. Was a great place. Benchmark- that’s a different story. The upstairs shower was leaking causing water to drip down through the recessed lighting. I called in Sunday and they asked we not use that bathroom. I called again and maintenance showed up and said he had to get another service there bc he was not allowed to do exploratory leak assessments. He left- a day went by- I had to call again- same guy came out- same story. We left Saturday- could not use that bathroom all week. Nobody came or followed up. Hope for the homeowners sake someone goes there - it’s a beautiful home and water would damage it. We also took video of the leak so the maintenance man could observe and shared the first visit. I told benchmark I was disappointed they offered us 5 percent for our next booking. That’s a brazen assumption we’d book with them again. The people were nice and their responses were nice- scripted. Just lip service though. It’s a shame- place is super nice. Amazed at the cleanliness.

The only things that I would change is the bed downstairs (it has reached the end of it's life), and would be awesome if this property had a golf cart, and maybe a bigger grill. The home and it's amenities were perfect! Management was very informative and helpful if we had any questions (had to get a different pool code) but they were very attentive to any and all messages! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The bikes provided with the stay were great for the children to have a little freedom. The Hub is lots of fun! Lots of family entertainment, shopping and food! The beach access is a little tricky but once you figure out the best access for your group, it’s not too bad (you have to get in the car and drive for beach access).

The home was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. The game room had entertainment for the kids. The pool was awesome! Our favorite one was across the highway. Very nice place and location I would totally recommend for family gathers of 10 or so people including kids. I always love renting with Benchmark. Their customer service is excellent! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Happy New Year! We had a nice time. The house is great! There are no doors to the two rooms upstairs instead curtains. If you have little kids it’s fine. We have teenagers so it wasn’t ideal. The kitchen is great and has everything you would need. The beach access is a bit of a secret and seems to be a big question. There was a beach guard at the beach access point which is walking distance from the house, we were told only members of the Water Sound beach club can access the beach this way. We never found another path to the beach and the beach guard was nice enough to let us enter. It was not crowded so I assume that was why we were granted beach access. The garage is a great space for kids or teens. The HUB is walking distance from the house which is awesome!!! Overall the house is wonderful if you don’t mind the curtains to the two rooms upstairs and the beach access is unknown. The pool is a quick walk from the house which is also a plus. Enjoy! Water Sound is beautiful! I just wish the beach access was easier!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the house to be very clean, well maintained and appreciated a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, silverware, cooking supplies. The garage was filled with bikes, games, beach chairs and toys. In addition to the books and games in the house. The location was ideal!Unfortunately we had an AC issue causing a leak. It was fixed the following morning so took a while to cool the house down. Was disappointed the water and ice maker was not working. Also disappointed to find two of the four rooms upstairs did not have doors. Curtains were used to close off the rooms. Loved having the pool in walking distance. Also loved to be so close to the beach. It was only a 6 minute bike ride or a 15 minute walk. There is no poarking so these were two good options.I would recommend this house but would be clearer about the sleeping areas. Not really ideal for young children since they wouyld hear the noise from down stairs.
