The house was great and had a beautiful ocean view! It was in the best location, literally backing onto the beach with shops and resturants only a few minutes drive away. The house was very clean when we arrived and very stocked up with household items. The check in and check out processes went very smoothly and was so easy, and the host was very easy to communicate with. We had a great stay!

Hi Melita, thanks for your feedback. As explained this was due to the window coverings being replaced and the manufactures sending the wrong pelmets and brackets. These were fast tracked and the new blinds were installed after your stay.

The property was clean. The views were amazing. Just around the corner was a few little shops, or wine bar and a coffee shop. There’s also a Pilates studio. From the backyard you can walk down to the beach or from the road you can walk down to Little blowhole and also the beach. The property could really do with some Blockout curtains or blinds. It’s incredibly light from the street lights at night and the blinds that are currently there are quite old and don’t do the job. Downstairs is a room with a ping-pong table and the laundry. That came in very handy having the ping-pong table indoors as the weather wasn’t great. I really wonderful Property is staying and we will definitely be making another visit.

We very much enjoyed the comfortable and well-appointed house with its gorgeous view and great sundeck. And Frank was a very accessible, responsive and helpful host. Being just a lovely walk down to the beach was a pleasure.

Beautiful location with everything you need

The house is perfect for 2 families - it has everything you need for the comfortable stay. The view is amazing and we could have just spent all day sitting on the balcony. Close walk to the beach and local cafe. Frank was a pleasure to deal with and ensured we had everything we required. Would highly recommend

Tranquility

Kiama is our go to place, it’s been a family favorite for many years. This home is comfortable, very well equipped and spacious. Best location with awesome views of the cliffs, ocean and beach. The games room was very handy for the kids and grandpa as he played many table tennis competitions. All round we had a great time.

Thank you for taking the time to review my house Dorothy. I do pride myself on excellent communication and wish you had contacted me about the oven as there's a sign indicating the oven needs to be turned on by a switch – I will try and make it more obvious for future guests. And if contacted would have also advised spare TV remote batteries are stored above the microwave. You are obviously entitled to rate my house as you see fit but given the circumstances must confess a 3 star rating may be a little harsh especially as your "Overall, Cleanliness, House rules and Communications" rating were 5 stars. This property was perfect for a long weekend away, with spectacular views right from the spacious balcony. We loved eating breakfast out there each morning watching whales in the ocean. Could spend hours just watching the view. Plus a beach that had perfect calm conditions for younger kids 5 minutes walk from the back door, and also walking distance to cafes and the little blow hole. I was in love with the million dollar views and location, but the house itself was also perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids.

Really nice place!

The ocean view makes/ breakfast, lunch and dinner /every times special. Checking in and out were easy and I was able to simply enjoy table tennis. I was satisfied because the bathroom was very comfortable and new. The backyard is connected to the beach, so accessibility is very good.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I bought in Kiama in 1998. It was her idea and she's never let me forget it! We certainly couldn't afford to by it now.

What makes this property unique

Yes, my house is comfortable and well-appointed but the joy of staying there is the uplifting feeling you get when standing on the huge deck overlooking Easts Beach, the Ocean and mountains. It can't be beaten no matter what the weather. Obviously it's a wonderful place to while away the summer days and walk down to Easts Beach for a swim. But I particularly enjoy staying when there's a howling wind buffeting on the glass doors and the sea is frothing. It's the perfect time to put on the waterproof jacket and walk around the headland. I promise it will be an unforgettable experience.
