Great Location, Kid & Dog Friendly, Open Floor Plan

Fully equipped separate mother-in-law apartment w/private entrance in a quiet Denver neighborhood. We use environmentally conscious cleaning products and take extra care to disinfect after every stay. There is a KING bed, cotton linens, down comforter, extra blankets, pillows and linens are available. A separate open plan living room with lots of space for air beds; one Queen raised, or two twin air mattresses available on request. Full kitchen. Private fenced yard. Off-street parking. High chair and pack and play available for infants.

We welcome guests traveling a dog. One dog only. Please let us know before booking if you will be bringing your four-legged. :) No cats.

We are 5 minutes from both I25 and I225, 20 minutes from both downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center, and 15 minutes from DU. Our subdivision is on the beautiful Highline Canal Trail that weaves through the city. Our central location provides easy access to Denver's many attractions. The mountains are close - a 45-minute drive to Idaho Springs and an hour to the closest ski resorts.

A private apartment on the lower level of the main house includes a spacious bedroom with a walk-in closet, with French glass doors opening to a covered patio. Large, sunny living area, additional seating, and a flatscreen t.v. with You Tube T.V. and Netflix. There is a full-size fully equipped kitchen with dining seating for 4. Private fenced yard with potty are for pets. Toys, books, games are available upon request. High-speed wireless internet access is included free of charge.

We don't allow smoking of any kind in the apartment. There is a private outdoor seating area appropriate for smoking.

You can be as private as you like, and we are available to answer questions and offer suggestions for local restaurants and attractions. Both our house and the neighborhood are generally quiet, so if you are looking for all the comforts of a home away from home, you'll love this apartment! We look forward to welcoming you.

Great spot for Colorado Softball Tournaments!

We loved staying here while we were in Colorado for the big summertime tournament! The location was close to several of the fields, the house was comfortable, hosts were great to deal with and worked with us when we needed to extend our stay. We would stay here again!

Nice Basement Apartment

The neighborhood was very quiet, with sidewalks and a bike/walking trail very close by. The neighborhood had lovely homes with groomed yards. The apartment was roomy and had a small backyard for our dog. It was comfortable and plenty of room.

Home away from home

This was a home away from home! Our apartment stay was spacious for me, my wife and our two small dogs. It was very clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed including kitchen appliances, dishes, glasses, and utensils. Nice place, everything we needed

We had a very pleasant stay. The location was great. The apartment had everything we needed. The hosts were great. Very welcoming to us and our fur baby. The only issue was the creaking of the heater in the morning which woke us up. Other than that it was perfect.

Home Away from Home

I was so comfortable in this VRBO. It’s very private and has all the amenities you need. The best part was the host Devorah who is so kind and helpful. There were a number of small to fairly large snow storms during my stay and the hosts had everything shoveled in a timely manner. Super dog friendly, which made it perfect for my stay. Highly recommend this garden level homey location.

Perfect, private basement apartment!

It was a perfect place for us while we stayed in Denver and traveled around to surrounding areas. We had everything we needed especially for our littles who are both under 2. There’s no A/C, but even with days in the high 90’s it didn’t get too hot. Our pup loved the fenced in area and watching bunnies and squirrels. Thanks for the stay Devorah!

The property was clean, quiet, and had just about everything I could possibly have needed. My l8ttle dog lived the outdoor space and immediately made herself at home. My. The property is okay. The entrance door, your first impression, needs to be repaired. The storm door has no screen at the bottom and needs to be replaced. The outside area could be cleaned up. Towels were great! Kitchen was well stocked. A binder with information about unit and area would be helpful.

A very private place close to ammenities

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was as wonderful as the first. We arrived very late in the early morning hours. We had called to inform the owners that we were delayed by the airlines. They told us how to get in without requiring their assistance. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and the little things you need first thing in the morning before you have a chance to go to the store. That really counts when you arrive at 3:00 AM. The picture of the patio is just what you will find, and don't forget the playset for the very little ones too. If you go, don't forget to say hello to Sawyer, the very, very friendly golden retriever for us.

Different than hoped

Devorah was very accommodating with dates and check in. Unfortunately the space was not fully cleaned on arrival and while Devorah worked to address the concerns it was not completely resolved. It’s important to know you will hear the residents walking and tv above as well as maybe furnace/plumbing noises as you are in the walkout basement of a home. While again, Devorah was very kind and tried to address the cleaning issues, the combination of that and the noise made it not a good fit for our stay and we decided to make other arrangements.

Perfect location for me with lots of space!

I chose this VRBO get away because it was very close to my family gathering. The VRBO description is very accurate. My sister and I felt very comfortable there. Our hosts, Devorah and Daniel, had everything ready before we arrived and made themselves available by text if we needed anything while respecting our privacy. There is a private entrance to the private open floor plan. There is one private bedroom with a king sized bed & TV and we also made use of the (optional) queen sized airbed in the main living area which also has a TV. The main living space was roomy enough to leave the air bed inflated for the entire visit with plenty of space to spare. A full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are all within the unit, accommodating either a short or prolonged stay. Having our own dedicated thermostat and outdoor lighting was also very nice. I must add that there was plenty of hot water for the newly renovated bathroom with a shower located off the main living space. In addition, parking my car in a designated driveway space took the worry of having my car on the street. We met our hosts at one point and they are wonderful people. I will definitely book my stay there again when I need lodging in that area to be near my family. Thank you Devorah and Daniel!

Wonderful stay

Devorah and Daniel are great hosts. This was one of my favorite finds on Vrbo to date. There were many thoughtful touches in the unit, it was warm, very spacious, lots of light -it did not feel like I was in a basement apartment. The location makes it convenient to get around. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and as a woman traveling solo, this is important to me. I work remotely, and the Wi-Fi was fast, and the work desk made my work week easy and pleasant. I did have my little dog, she was welcome and the very pet friendly yard made life very easy. There is even a cute fire hydrant for your pup in the sand dog yard! The bed was comfortable and cozy. Everything and more I needed in the kitchen. This place and these hosts are a gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Devorah and her husband are wonderful hosts and made it so easy for us to enjoy their daylight basement unit. Everything we needed was there, the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, plenty of options for working remotely and an outdoor patio surrounded by fall colors. Access to the Highline canal trail is just a few minutes walk. I enjoyed taking our pups for walks while my husband took his road bike out several times and enjoyed the gorgeous fall weather. We will be back!

The accommodation is a full basement with full kitchen, living area, dining area and walk-in closet. In the terms of regular rentals it is larger than usual. There is a beautiful patio perfect for lunch with table, chairs and a great view. The neighbor hood is upper scale and very safe. Feel free to take a walk.

Great Place for a long term stay and short term stay!

The space was great! The property owner allowed me to have my two dogs which was great! Nice little fenced in area and just a nice outdoor space in general! The space inside was nice and cozy! Had everything we needed and more! Would say if you are not use to basement living or just living below someone, do expect some noise but it is not bad at all! Truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone coming to Denver!

Great Location

The house has lots of restaurants close by, and is in a great neighborhood. The pictures are 100% accurate. The owners are very responsive. I would recommend this house.
