Beautiful location for mountain views from the back of the property. It was a little tired but bed was comfy and shower good. Had nice decorations and most things we needed. Plenty of fresh towels. Bbq could have been cleaner and it would help to have paper towels provided to help with clean up. Overall would recommend

The deck and upstairs are lovely and furniture and bed are very comfortable. We loved sitting outside more than inside. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. The setting is very peaceful and special.

The loft house was in a gorgeous location with a huge deck where you can relax and take in nature. Inside was beautifully decorated, just be aware the toilet is downstairs from the bedroom which might be a bit tricky for some at night but there is a helpful nightlight. We loved it there.

Great location walking distance to Halls Gap township but feeling remote within nature. We spent most of our time on the large deck, enjoying the view. And most appreciated was being able to let our dog off leash on the gated deck.

The house was lovely and relaxing to stay in. Our only suggestions: 1. a mat to wipe your feet on inside the property (when we arrived it was raining heavily and there was nowhere to wipe our feet). 2. Directions to the property were a bit unclear. Janaza Retreat is located on a no through road that is no longer named (the street sign has been removed). We drove past the road unaware we’d missed the turnoff. Instructions explaining turn left at the first no through road would have made gettting to the property would have been useful.

We truly believe that the Grampians are best enjoyed outdoors amongst the beautiful nature so that’s why we built the fantastic raised outdoors deck area for everyone to enjoy. Unfortunately this has limited our ability to have more outward looking windows to the downstairs living area.
