Completely renovated in late 2023!

It's all about the beach at this stylish entertainer located in a secluded setting on a large block. With the ocean so close you can smell the fresh sea air and hear the waves crashing beyond the sand dunes.

Immaculately presented with a beach house feel, this home is just right for winter or summer escapes! Sit by the coonara open fire in winter or soak up the rays on the enormous private BBQ decking in summer.

This house ticks all the boxes for a great get-away.

2. It is a short stroll with easy access to the beautiful back-beach, the famous Number 16 Beach General Store/Cafe and fabulous nature walks along coastal parkland.

This is the perfect holiday hideaway to enjoy all year round, with easy access to number sixteen back beach and walking tracks or a very short drive to the bay beaches. Situated right in the heart of fantastic golf courses, wineries, day spas and many other attractions!

The property is unfenced so we provide a long lead if required for your dog.

Wonderful house!

Perfect house, very clean, new bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen, close to no 16th beach. Very responsive host. I would absolutely recommend it.

Beautiful house near back beach

Beautifully renovated beach house within an easy stroll of beach. Comfy sofas and beds, lovely wood burning fire, great deck and garden to enjoy (garden lighting at night really pretty). Had a lovely weekend relaxing with space for us all to chill out.

Lovely house

Lovely house, easy checkin-checkout. Next to the beach and some really nice walks. Super cozy, I already want to come back in summer. Great for cooking and chilling. Thumbs up all around.

Hidden Gem - A place to recharge amongst nature

We had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful home. It is set in a tranquil area surrounded by nature and when you step outside you can enjoy a short walk to the Cafe and view the impressive coastline of Rye.We stayed with our family and 1 year old Grandson who loved it. There was plenty of room for us all. The house has an amazing renovation with beautiful bathrooms, open kitchen, living area which opens onto a lovely deck with seating and a barbeque.We had a lovely dinner in on the first night and was so impressed with the oven having a 1 yr old. The outside of the door was child proof - no heat.There is a lovely window seat you can sit and watch the peaceful surrounds or enjoy a glass wine while reading a book.Check in is easy and Glenn provided us with plenty of information about his home.We felt so lucky to have found this gem!We will be back again. Disappointing

Overall disappointed with our stay at this property. We booked the property because it was listed as dog friendly and had an outdoor hot tub, neither of which turned out to be true. This property is entirely unfenced and flanked on two sides by main roads (which we were advised of only 2 days before checking in) so my dog had to be tied up outsie or inside the entire time. When I enquired where the hot tub was when we arrived, the property manager thought it was some joke and said he had obviously mistakenly included it in the description. Despite asking, all rooms were not made up with bed linens when we arrived either. We tried to seek a partial refund but the property manager declined and I was encouraged by Stayz to go the review route which I didn't really want to do. Just an overall disappointing and expensive stay over the New Years period.

Beautiful place

Nice relaxing place, but the front door having no curtain gave me the heebie jeebies.....overall I can't complain about much else. There was plenty of everything in the cupboards. The kids enjoyed reading the books and also the easter egg hunt we did around the property. It was soo much fun. A trip they will remember. Close walk to the beach. Pretty accurate listing. The booking and communication was easy. I admired the original paintings by Charles Blackman.Some nice pieces. They gave the kids the creeps though haha Thanks again for a lovely stay.

Lovely holiday home

Eagles Nest is a perfect holiday house for both long and short stays. We found it very clean and furnished with all you could need. Communication and instructions received from the owner were clear and easy to follow. It is a short walk to the beach and coastal walking tracks. The organic cafe and shop was an added bonus as was the excellent wifi.

Perfect location for back beach exploration

A modern bright space for exploring the back beaches - walk or drive - and the beautiful national parks and forests. The hot springs and many wineries are a short drive away. Perfect for a weekend away. The hosts are accommodating and full of helpful information. Would stay again.

A great place to stay with family

Eagle's Nest proved an excellent pad for a weekend away with my parents. It was spacious (2 couples plus a dog) and well-equiped. The rear deck area and outdoor space at the back was tranquil and provided an excellent setting for a relaxing weekend break.

Terrific little beach house close to Rye back beaches

Terrific place to stay. Amazing decks for BBQ dinners, afternoon wines and morning coffees. The place was impeccably clean and is within walking distance to some amazing beaches. The beds and furnishings are very comfortable, and the whole property very well maintained. The host was a pleasure to deal with and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect Family Holiday

We stayed at Glenn’s place for two weeks & had a fantastic time. Given the length of our stay we wanted a big enough space to not step on each other’s toes while juggling holiday activities with the kids & working remotely. It was perfect for us! We loved the bush setting that made you feel like you’re away from it all, but only a 5 min car ride the the middle of Rye. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos & would definitely look to stay here again.
