CONSTRUCTION NOTE
Complex is beginning repairs on the stairwell located on the west (makai) end of the C Building on Monday, November 24th. This stairwell will be closed for approximately 2–3 weeks. Guests staying in the E Building and entering from the parking lot will need to use the alternate route around the B Building. Work hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work scheduled.

Great central location to lots of snorkeling areas, downtown Kona with shopping, food, farmers market short walk away. Loved the waves crashing on the lava rock and afternoon swims in the pool on the grounds. Clean, well mantained landscaping.
Beautiful beach front property where you can view the awesome Kona sunsets! Its on Ali'i drive so shops, restaurants, and beach access are closeby where you can drive or walk. Great base to explore all the beautiful spots on the Big Island. Definitely recommend as a place to stay in Kona!
Lovely grounds, great location to watch sunsets, quiet residents and guests.
This was our second time staying at this location. We love the area along the water; a beautiful, relaxing spot. The condos are close to town and within a few minutes of a couple nice beaches. We hope to come back in the future!
My husband and I enjoyed our time at this property. We loved being able to walk down every night and watch the sunset. The pool was great to just unwind and was rarely busy.

It was nice to have a view of the ocean from the patio. Enjoyed having the BBQ's. Air conditioning worked great. Dissappointed in the salt water pool next door, looked much cleaner and attractive in photos.

Well-equipped and beautiful ocean views. The ocean is the backyard and it’s a super convenient location, 5 minutes drive from Downtown Kona close to all the shops and restaurants and the beach. Had an amazing experience here!
Older property with good comfort for two adults. Recently upgraded unit, but shower is analogous to using a pressure washer on your skin. Badly need some kind of pressure reduction device.

Room with a view
This was our first stay at the Kona Isle C32 and we were impressed with the complex overall. All was in order.. It's clean, comfortable and a well supplied unit. Nicely decorated with a good supply of kitchen necessities. There was a nice sitting area immediately behind the rocky beach with barbeques and tables near the pool. This place would be great for a couple to base out of for exploring the big island. Unit C32 is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. You get a designated parking spot which is great.

Nice condo, excellent location. A place to be!
First of all we want to say that we had a great time in Kona. The The apartment was clean when we arrived. The location is perfect. The manager does an excellent job. The condo had everything we needed. Towels, sheets, utensils, beach chairs, umbrella and toys were useful and greatly appreciated.
However, few things have to be looked at. The kitchen cupboards and the bathroom need renovations. The screen door needs to be fixed or even replaced.
We enjoyed our 6 weeks stay at Kona Isle #C32.

I saw a cockroach on day 2. Killed it hoping that's be the only one. Day 3 I saw 3 more and on day 4 I open the cabinet to see about 8 cockroaches run through the plates and bowls. At that point I call and told them I was leaving. They said they'd refund me for the remaining days but I have yet to see the refund on my account 3 days later. Really hoping I get it back.

The property was nice. The road was a little bit noisy at night, but the property management was good and the location was very nice. We would go back there for sure.
Nice condo. Beautiful grounds. Could see the ocean from the lanai. Could hear the waves sitting in the living room with the sliding door open! Bed was comfortable.
Property management company needs to pay more attention to details. The smoke detector was hanging open and no battery; it appeared someone opened it, took the battery out to replace, and forgot to finish the job.
Also, it’s not possible that whoever cleaned the shower/tub couldn’t have known there was a major clog in the drain pipe. We pulled out a couple of years worth of hair, sludge, etc. because you ended up standing in a “bath” when you showered.

This unit was a good fit for us as it was better than a hotel room. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer and all the extras for the beach like snorkel equipment, beach towels and chairs. Having a parking spot was great. Very nice grounds and lovely sunsets from the lanai. The unit was quite clean but dated and worn. It's not close to the road, but we were surprised how loud the traffic could be at night. The air conditioner was helpful, but the bedroom still got quite warm. We used the fan in the hallway to help with that. The condo hasn't been updated in years, especially the bathroom and kitchen. Old appliances, cabinets and sinks. Tub area has been fixed up over and over again, looks pretty sad, but useable. The cable wasn't working at first but we were able to call the phone number provided and got that taken care of. We noticed early on that one of the kitchen cabinets was pulled away from the wall. We were careful around that one and called to let them know that really should be fixed before it caused a much bigger problem. As we were leaving there was a someone there to take a look so hopefully not an issue in the future. Location is about 10 blocks to little downtown Kona and about 20 minutes from the airport. There are several nice beach areas nearby and a Safeway grocery store about 10 minutes away to stock up.

We were asked by the tenant below our condo to not use the water, as his water/sewage was backing up in his unit. He told us the site manager wasn't there, so nothing could be done. We'd just flown in that day, were tired and in need of showers and the weather was very humid making it a very uncomfortable request. We went without showers to be courteous to the tenant as he was obviously stressed because of his condo. We then discovered around 10:30 p.m. the water had been shut off! A call from you or the site manager would have been appreciated. There was an email from the rental office, but I didn't see that until the next morning. A simple note on the condo door would have been a fine notification, or a text. The bathroom towel bar kept falling apart, the a/c unit in the living room was good in that specific area, but didn't reach to the bedroom which ended up being overly warm. The provided box fan to move cool air into the bedroom was filthy, behind the dryer lint trap was a thick build up of lint which didn't affect us, but is a potential fire hazard. The condo was in definite need of upgrades. Several kitchen cupboard doors didn't open, or were hard to pry open. I am not that picky, but it really seemed to me that this place is in need of many updates.

We had a great experience. Gorgeous view, private beach area, felt like we had the place to ourselves. Designated parking spot was a bonus. I looked at alot of places and the ocean close and beach area was top priority. The condo had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time there so it was adequate. It's not fantasy but it's clean, nice and comfortable. Affordable is a plus. It is a little noisy in the bedroom as it gets some road noise, pretty sure that is consistent on Ali drive. $1.00 earplugs fixed the problem. Would highly recommend Kona Isle. Looking forward to our next trip.
