Fabulous view

Really lovely, view is incredible. Apartment is cosy and has everything you need for a great trip. Coms with Jamie and the management company were very good. There was a heavy downpour the day we arrived at the beginning of the week - the pool area wasn’t swepped until the weekend and looked a little neglected. Other than that, a wonderful stay and would recommend.

Cosy home with amazing views

Great communication from the start with both the property owner and property manager. The house is comfortable and well equipped and felt like a home from home. We really appreciated the beach toys and parasols, games and kitchen equipment. It's a loooong way up via the stairs, but that position affords an amazing view of the bay and a real sense of quiet.

Nice home with wonderful little garden and nice mountain view

Our stay was great! The home was clean and beautiful furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped! Lots of books in the shelfes ( You do not need to bring any, if you speak English). Highly recommend to read a Winter in Mallorca from George Sand! We do saw Frank the Gekko and come cats did visited us. Neighborhood was great and only 2 min from the beach. Perfect base to unwind

We had a very relaxing break in a most comfortable and well equipped apartment. The local agent was very easy to get hold of and extremely helpful. Views were stunning from the front of the apartment owing to its high position and consequently lots of steps down to the beach, however it did not hinder and we would return without question.

Sun, sea, sand and relax

This apartment is as described. Very clean, well equipped, aircon / heaters and nice outside area. You do though need to be aware of the 190+ steps down - and up to reach the beach, otherwise you need a car or walk the coast road that doesn’t have pavements - so caution needed. However, the apartment with pool access was great - and Port de Soller is incredibly relaxing.

Rundum zu Wohlfühlen

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem Apartment. Es liegt an einem Han, sodass man einen großartigen Blick auf den Hafen und die Berge hat. DIi Morgensonne auf der Terrasse ist herrlich. Das Apartment hat einen schönen Garten was in dieser Lage ziemlich einzigartig ist. DIe Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht , gut ausgestatteter Haushalt mit z.B. Kaffeemaschine , Ofen, großem Kühlschrank -einzig das warme Wasser läuft sehr schleppend, also lang warm Duschen ist keine gute Idee. Das ist aber wohl auch in anderen Haushalten im Ort so. Man kann in der Anlage gut mit dem Auto parken und schnell über Stufen zum Hafen gelangen. Port de Soller ist ein wunderbarer Ort, auch zum Wandern und sich zu entspannen. Jamie ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und vor Ort hat man jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner von einer Agentur, der unkompliziert ansprechbar ist und einem weiter hilft. Wir fanden es ganz toll !!

Charming Apartment in a Beautiful Location

We recently returned from a weeks stay at Montemar, which was thoroughly enjoyable. We chose the property as it looked very homely and the views across the bay to Port Sóller from the pictures seemed spectacular. Neither disappointed. Part of a complex, the apartment has a rustic charm which catered perfectly to our needs. Comprising two decent sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. A spacious living / dining area with French doors opening on to a patio with wonderful views of the port and the surrounding mountains and a well equipped kitchen. Outside, the patio was perfect for relaxing with an early morning coffee or in the evenings enjoying a quiet sundowner while taking in the scenery. There is also a small garden and a terrace area with sun loungers and a small portable barbecue. The complex itself is set on a hill on the south western side of the bay with a nice communal setting and swimming pool area. Access to the town, if going on foot, is down quite a few flights of stairs. While it might not be suitable for everyone, a stop or two to admire the scenery was a perfect break to the descent / ascent. While we didn't spend much time during the day in the apartment, it was, as previously mentioned, perfect for our needs. Communication with the hosts, Judy and Jamie prior to our visit and our local contact in Port Sóller, Biel, was effortless. In addition to that, there was an abundance of information on hand in the form of folders with instructions for the property, the complex and surrounding locations. Including great information on local amenities, from suggestions for grocery shopping, numbers for local taxi services, bus timetables to surrounding towns and recommendations ranging from daytrips, local walks, best sunset spots to beaches and restaurants. Whilst I really cannot fault anything perhaps a little updating would add to the appeal of the property. New patio / terrace furniture, being able to open the shutters in the bedrooms to let in more light and take full advantage of the views and fixed mosquito meshing would also be ideal. While there was netting, it was not possible to leave or sleep with any windows open, if you preferred some fresh air as opposed to having the air conditioning on during the night which we opted not to. All in all, I can highly recommend both the property and Port Sóller and hopefully will return for another visit. Thanks again Biel for your help and for arranging the early morning taxi. Russell

Holiday in Port De Soller

The property was extremely well equipped and the excellent air conditioning was wonderful. The terrace and garden provided a versatile outside space for dining, sunbathing etc. The views from the apartment were amazing. The pool was close by and clean and we always had it to ourselves, which was great! We would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to go again. As others have mentioned, the apartment is on a hill so please note that this could be a problem for less mobile folk. Worth the walk up the hill/steps for the view though!

Jolly holiday apartment

We stayed in this cosy apartment for 7 nights, my husband, myself and our little son Max. We had everything we needed during our stay and communication was fantastic throughout. We loved the beautiful views and close proximity to our favourite restaurant Patiki beach and of course the beach itself which is perfect for toddlers. There is so much to do in Soller and we took the tram, rented a boat, tried many restaurants and swam in the sea and the pool daily. There is much talk in the reviews about the stairs/ road up to the apartment. We found it totally fine doing both, however, we preferred to take the road when we had Max and the pram with us, which we would describe as an easy climb- the stairs we did without him as it’s about 6 mins quicker (but we lived in Devon and cornwall so we are maybe more hardened to hill walking) either way it’s not a problem and nothing to put you off. Thank you Jaime for letting us your apartment at such short notice when our villa was cancelled. Thank you Biel for taking us to the emergency dentist when my son had a little accident (he is fine!)

Ideal for a relaxing holiday

This is a well-equipped, comfortable apartment. It is well-located on the edge of Port de Soller with wonderful views from the terrace. Walking to the beach does not take long but there are a lot of steps , which may not suit small children or those with a disability. There is a small but nice pool in the complex and parking is easy. Great base for exploring the region and do take a trip to Soller on the old wooden tram!

Fabulous location

We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable weeks’ stay at Jamie and Judy’s apartment. The location is fabulous with views across the bay and to the mountains beyond, a view we can never tire of. The apartment was meticulously clean and very comfortable. The only point to consider would be some general updating and to make more of the outside space as it could be stunning. It was extremely easy communicating with Jamie who was very helpful. Thanks again for a great holiday.

Dated and in need of decoration

Good stuff:- Location was great, the apartment had everything that you need for a summer holiday. Not so good stuff:- Shower doesn't work in the en-suite bathroom, the showers need proper temperature control as they go from scolding to cold quickly and frequently, a number of bulbs were out. Terrace is a mess, looks like stuff is dumped there. Jamie check your managing agents as the terrace table was dirty on arrival. Overall the apartment is dated and could do with a revamp. This is not a criticism but an observation

A charming rustic apartment with a beautiful view

We stayed in this charming rustic apartment for 2 weeks with our children aged 10 and 12. The apartment has such a beautiful view, with the added bonus of a side garden with sun beds. We ventured down to the beach most days to keep the children entertained and the sea was warm and calm - perfect for kids to play and swim. The apartment had everything we needed and more - and Jamie and Judy (the owners) were brilliant at dealing with our booking and any inquiries - and were so understanding when we locked ourselves out (thank you!). The only thing I would improve, which sadly you can't, is the size of the pool itself and space around it - because it was a little cramped with not much space to sit or lie. But instead we went to the beach most days, so it wasn't a major problem. I loved the location of the apartment, to the left of the bay facing the sea, there is a fabulous restaurant right at the bottom (Es Reco) where you can dine beach side - it's truly wonderful and we ate there countless times! The 190 steps up to the apartment from the road/beach didn't bother me at all as the view you gained from this was well worth it, but the elderly or very young may struggle. It was our first visit to Port de Soller and the resort is very nice - if a little expensive with more higher end restaurants than your usual resorts. All in all a nice apartment in lovely scenic location.

Lovely apartment with a view

Great apartment with two bathrooms, lovely view, clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend. If you are a walker there are lots of circular walks or walks where a bus or the tram can be caught back. Lots of restaurants on the sea front, the bay is huge, and the area is not over developed. Port De Soller is simply lovely.

Wunderschöne Wohnung tolle Zeit!

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, es gab nichts was man vermisst hat. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft, genau auf der richtigen Seite der Bucht. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Great appartment!

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful appartemt with our 2 teenage Kids. The interieur is lovely arranged by the owners. The pool is nearby, you have a great view from the terrace, and the beach and the promenade with a lot of bars and shops are not far away. This region af Mallorca is really original, with old villages and many flowers and trees...still green in August (the other part of Mallorca was now brown). We'll come back!!!

Perfect for us! Fantastic location!

We had a lovely time in Port de Soller. The apartment was perfect for our family with 2 little girls. The garden/terrace, and sea & mountain views are great. The nearby pool as well! Owner's Judy and James provided really good detailed information and were quick in answering our questions. The many stairs were not a problem for our youngest (almost 3yrs). The girls experienced it as a daily adventure. We can really recommend this apartment!
