Thank you for your positive feedback. Regarding keys, as mentioned during your stay this is a secure building and there are limits to how many key sets can be allocated. Please understand that keys also need to be allocated to the owners, cleaning staff, and a backup set for emergencies. As the laundry in this apartment does not have direct access to external ventilation, and the building exhaust is quite weak, we use a heap pump dryer which traps all lint internally and extracts all moisture into a drainage hose instead of pumping most of it into the air like cheaper dryers. Although this type does increase drying times, we believe this is the best solution for guests and the apartment.

[I trust any future guests that read this will see the truth of the matter] Admittedly there was a bit of a mixup with the checkin time for this guest, which resulted in a 1 hour checkin delay, but her claims of me being rude and derogatory to her are an outright lie, and she has very childishly twisted many of my words from previous messages in a desperate attempt to justify her inexplicable attitude. I apologised repeatedly and was nothing but polite and helpful as possible the entire time, literally ending my own Saturday night short to assist them as best I can. I received a message from her at 10:01pm on a Saturday night, where she informed me she can't check in. I was in contact with her roughly every 5 minutes for the next hour while I tried to contact after hours staff to get this guest checked in as fast as possible. This guest did not bother to properly read any of the basic instructions provided prior to checkin, or inform us in advance that she planned to check in at 10pm, which according to her review she doesn't consider late(??). The 20 minutes she spent trying to park from 9:40-10:00pm were a direct result of her not reading the clear instructions provided. She was only scheduled to stay for ~12 hours, so without hesitation I offered to refund the 1 hour they lost. She didn't find this acceptable and demanded hundreds of dollars in compensation. She also mentioned she had to pay a parking fee of $51 as a result of the additional wait, which I agreed to pay once she provides the receipt for this cost. Almost two weeks later she has still not provided this receipt even after sending reminders, nor have I received any communications from her since. She did however find the time to leave an unrelentingly dishonest 1 star review two weeks later... She has also exaggerated details multiple times regarding actual time of arrival and checkin. Eg she checked in at exactly 11:00pm, not 11:20pm. Regarding the 'silly' and 'ulterior motives' comments I made, both were actually sent the day after checkout in response to her message where she continues to complain that everything I had done for her thus far was 'unacceptable', and I politely pointed out that her original stated reason for stay was "Just need a place to sleep for the night", but after checkout later stated in her complaint "This was supposed to be a fun night for my 50th birthday". Here are those two comments I sent to her(as part of a larger very polite response): "I think you need to consider that maybe it was also a bit silly for you to not inform us in advance that you were planning on arriving at such a late hour, and to assume an office would be open at that hour on a Saturday night." "In my opinion, the level of disappointment you appear to be displaying is not consistent with someone who only lost 1 hour of sleeping time, and more in line with someone who had ulterior plans. This property clearly mentions 'No events allowed' under Policies."
