Genuine, quirky, old world seaside shack. We really enjoyed our stay, no mod cons, which for us was a plus, very cozy and comfortable. Amazing view and friendly neighbours. A true get away. We will be back.

The beach house was exactly what we were expecting. The view was more wonderful than we had hoped. Such a gorgeous place, with a kitchen with all the basics you need to cook well. The linen was wonderful with fluffy quilts perfect for snuggling. The house is spacious while not losing that gorgeous beach shack vibe. There are plenty of books and a collection of dvds. This was the perfect long weekend away stay with three friends and a small dog. I can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful beach shack, full of character and truly pet friendly - have stayes in 'pet friendly' accomodation before, but these have felt like pets were only grudgingly allowed. This place was perfect for our two small dogs and it was apparent that they were as welcome as we were. The highlight for us was the old part of the shack - the lounge, kitchen and outside deck overlooking the beach. The bedrooms are warm and cosy with carpeting and comfortable beds. Great place and close to everything Tathra had to offer. Make use of the well equipped kitchen, as the dining in Tathra tended to be expensive and of below average quality, though the fish and chips were great.

Great location, peaceful, fabulous views, walking distance to everything. Rusticold-world charm. Pet friendly. The property is feeling its age but it's well equipped and everything works. Communication with the host, John, was excellent. We look forward to a return visit.

We had a beautiful time at this lovely old cottage above the sea. Very friendly hosts and easy to navigate the house, which is well kitted out. Loved the verandah, very comfy and we spent a lot of time out there enjoying that view. Easy walk to the beach below and a dog beach a little further along, walking distance also. Easy stroll to the hotel, however we were happy to eat in mostly as the house is so lovely. Thanks for sharing this authentic property, we had a great stay.
