Denis was a wonderful host and his gite was a perfect retreat for me. I loved its warm contemporary atmosphere. I found the peace that I needed in Nuits St Georges , while surrounded by world renowned food and wine. My heart is in cycling and there is so much to be explored from the door. I will be returning.

What a great first impression of lodging on our trip to France! My wife was ecstatic at the charm of this lodging renovated with a modern interior design touch. Nice and quiet off a busy Main Street on the way out of town, very well-situated to walking into town, a major grocery store and gas station, with quiet back roads as desired. Good cooking facilities (nice to have several styles of wine glasses for different types of wine), nice bathroom facilities, everything for a comfortable stay. Denis was a very friendly and helpful host, nice secure parking, very easy to come and go. Situated very conveniently in the heart of Borgogne wine country!

Wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay in Nuit-Saint-Georges. It’s is quiet, secure and a short, pleasant walk to the town centre. Denis is a good and responsive host. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance to return.

Burgundian treat

A brilliantly designed, compact retreat in the heart of Burgundy's wine producing villages. Easy transport links both for car and public transport. Wonderful and very helpful hosts. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

The perfect getaway

Delightful suite with everything you need. Forest pathway directly behind goes for a few miles perfect for a walk/run. Town is charming easily walkable. And right in the middle of vineyards as far as you can imagine!

Sehr schön ausgebautes Häuschen, das den Bildern genau entspricht. Leider stehen im Außenbereich nur zwei hohe Stühle ähnlich wie Barhocker, die ich persönlich etwas unbequem finde. Auch ein Sonnenschirm ist leider nicht vorhanden. Insofern haben wir nicht draußen gesessen. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Fahrräder konnten auf dem Gelände abgestellt werden, das durch ein Tor verschlossen war. Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge.

Le logement était très agréable, propre et bien équipé. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était à disposition, ce qui a rendu le séjour très confortable.L’emplacement est très calme, tout en permettant de rejoindre le centre à pied, avec ses restaurants et ses bars à vin. Il est également idéalement situé entre Dijon et Beaune, ce qui en fait un excellent point de départ pour des randonnées, des balades et des sorties à vélo à travers les vignobles.Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien et reviendrons avec plaisir. Un grand merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil.

Die Unterkunft besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden darunter auch eine alte Mühle. Gastgeber sehr nett und unkompliziert. Lage ist top sehr ruhig und trotzdem schnell zu Fuß im Ort. Unterkunft sehr sauber , kleiner Tisch in der Einfahrt im Außenbereich . Problematisch sind die anderen Nachbarn die sich über das geparkte Auto beschweren aber dafür kann der Gastgeber nichts.
