The cottage was even better than we expected. It was decorated so adorably, and was larger than we realized. It was very clean and cozy. The private beach was such a short walk up the road. We had a great time, and so did our dogs! The weather was perfect! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this cute little cottage. There were some spiderwebs but, its a rustic little cottage. We were glad it was pet friendly although the grass needed mowing which made it difficult to pick up after the dog. Its equipped with everything you would need. The shower is very small so if there are larger people staying take note of that. The shower itself was great (it would be difficult if you need to shave your legs though). Nice to have the beach just a block and a half away! Very charming neighborhood! We would definitely stay again!!

We picked this place from my best friend’s bachelorette. She wanted to go to a beach. And out of the other options we picked this place. To be honest, I was disappointed when I arrived. This place says that it has air conditioning, but it has one wall unit that was in need of cleaning and didn’t work great. It was hot when we got there but there were ton of fans. Had to open up all the windows for air flow. One thing that happened before we got there was my sister broke her foot. We had to manage around this property with that. Almost everything was fine except the beach. There’s no parking where the beach is, I had to drop her off and then walk back separately to that area. There’s only parking if you have a golf cart which non-local guest would not have. There was a pullout couch, but that actually looked broken so we weren’t able to utilize it so I slept on top of it which was not the most comfortable. The only other thing to keep in mind is that because of the area there are a lot of bugs/insects. On the side door, they did have a screen magnetic thing, but it obviously was loved and was not super efficient anymore. So we tried to avoid using that side door when possible. We did use the fire pit which even had wood in it to our surprise when the host said that there would not be. The bathroom was updated Along with the fridge. The microwave was a 700 W and they did not have a toaster only a toaster oven. Neighbors were nice and friendly. Nice neighbor.

We absolutely adored the cottage. Practically perfect in every way!! And far bigger inside than you would imagine from the pictures. It had everything we needed. So close to the water, and the nearby State Park Beach is pet friendly. The nearby town is fun!So close to Metro Detroit, and the rest of south east Michigan. We can't wait to come back!
