Great beach house in Somers
The perfect 60s beach house in a gorgeous garden setting located directly behind the Somers Yacht Club and close to the best swimming beach in Somers.
The main house sleeps 4 people and has a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two singles in the second bedroom and the separate bungalow has a queen-sized bed.
The house has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with stunning views of the garden. The separate bungalow has recently been renovated and includes a small kitchenette and bathroom. Both house and bungalow have overhead ceiling fans throughout.
It's an easy stroll to the Somers General Store for breakfast or lunch or or jump in the car and explore the Peninsula's wineries and beaches.
Go for long slow walks on the beach, swim with the resident family of dolphins, relax in deck chairs in the garden and enjoy the birdlife... and hopefully see a koala lazing in the tree.

About the host
Hosted by Libby Langford
I spend my time between Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula and especially love the Westernport Bay side for its beaches, birdlife, amazing bushwalks and fabulous places to explore. Whether it's a drive to some of the Peninsula's best wineries and restaurants, tucked away secret galleries or watching an amazing sunset from Somers beach there's always something new to discover. And swimming with Somers' resident family of dolphins is a real bonus.
Why they chose this property
Somers is a relaxed, beachside village on the Westernport side of the Mornington Peninsula. It has everything you need, and more... a great General Store for breakfast or lunch, the Somers Yacht Club, beautiful clean beaches and plenty of interesting wineries to visit. There are terrific walks through the bush at the Koala Reserve or along the clifftop, or meander through the gardens and wetlands at historic Coolart Homestead.
What makes this property unique
It's a mid century, 60s beach house and just the way beach houses should be... relaxed and casual. The location, the garden setting and amenities are what makes this house so unique. It's across the road from the beach and a short walk to the General Store. Put the umbrellas up and relax on the deck or laze in deckchairs on the lawn.
