Disappointing Experience:3 Stars
I recently stayed at Waters Edge and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Despite the potential for a pleasant stay, several issues marred the experience, prompting me to give it a 3-star rating.
Firstly, upon arrival, I was greeted by dirty and sticky floors, which immediately gave a negative impression. Furthermore, the hot tub, advertised as a feature, not only emitted an annoying hum but was also unclean, detracting from its appeal.
Moreover, the condition of the bedding was unsatisfactory, with noticeable stains on the down blankets. In addition, the microwave provided was in poor condition, with only 5 out of the numerous buttons functional, making meal preparation inconvenient.
The most egregious aspect of my stay was the presence of a large pile of bird excrement on the front doorstep upon arrival. Despite my repeated calls to address this issue, it took an unacceptable 2 1/2 days for the staff to finally clean it up. Even more frustrating was the fact that I was misled by false assurances regarding the cleanup, adding to the sense of dissatisfaction.
Throughout my stay, I encountered a series of excuses for each problem encountered, which only served to exacerbate the frustration. While the management did offer a 10% discount as compensation, it hardly made up for the litany of issues I faced.
