Magnificent 70' Houseboat with Roof Top Party Deck Walking Distance to DT Knox

Tired of staying in the same old stuffy boring hotel room? So were we, so we decided to own our own Houseboat on the Tennessee River, where we could walk to just about everything. The “Moonlight Madness” is docked in the peaceful Volunteer Landing Marina in Knoxville. The marina is steps away from award winning “Ruth’s Chris” steakhouse and Calhoun’s On the River. You can walk to both as well as the Neyland Greenway, James White Greenway, Neyland Stadium, Thompson-Boling arena, University of Tennessee and the vibrant Market Street in Downtown Knoxville. We can accommodate 6 people in beds. We have 2 bedrooms, one king size bed in the master and a Full bed in the crew quarters and a queen size pull out couch, along with 2 bathrooms. We feature 3 decks, one off the bow, one off the stern (great for morning coffee or catching some rays) and a 70' PARTY DECK on the roof. The party deck has abundant seating along with 2 flatscreen HD television and a gas grill. The master also has a 40' Vizio UHD flatscreen with Smartcast. The salon also has a 50' UHD flatscreen. Our boat comes fully stocked with clean linens and towels. The galley also comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils and small appliances along with Hi-Speed internet. You will meet a lot of very nice people that reside at the marina full time. We have just added a new party dock with 3 gas grills, furniture and tables for groups gatherings where more space is needed. Also, we have a golf cart and 2 Kayaks, 1 SUP and 2 beach cruiser bikes that are available for you to use while at our boat. Sorry, but the Houseboat doesn't leave the marina because of the river current. We also have a full-time Marina Manager and store on site should you need anything or have any questions with our boats. We want your stay with us to be a memorable one, and will make every attempt to make you want to come back. Don't worry our boat is secured with several spring lines and rarely moves, so don't be worried about motion sickness. Proud to be a Premier Partner Host. Our boat is strictly non-smoking non-vaping.

It was perfect for our needs. We walked to several nice restaurants, enjoyed the kayaks & paddleboards, bikes and golfcart. The houseboat was super cute and so much better than a traditional hotel. It had everything we could have needed (and more). We even played some board games in the evening. We also were so happy to be able to bring along our small dog, too.Thank you very much.

Loved this place. The location was spot‑on, and the houseboat itself was super clean and comfortable. We spent so much time on the balcony and the deck — the views were incredible. We loved our stay! The top party deck was amazing to sit out on at night and watch the games!!! Enjoyed being able to walk along the river and so close to downtown yet quiet and peaceful! House is as described and was squeaky clean! We will stay here again when we travel to Knoxville!!

Guys Weekend

The houseboat provided a unique place to stay for a guys weekend in Knoxville. The houseboat was very clean and well stocked in case you forgot anything. Use of the golf cart is a definite plus for loading and unloading cars from the parking area.

Floating Family Getaway for 4th of July

We really enjoyed our stay on the Moonlight Madness houseboat! It was very well furnished and maintained, and we really enjoyed being able to use the golf cart, paddle board, and kayaks. It was a perfect place to spend the long holiday weekend and much more fun than a hotel!

Our daughter played soccer for the University of Tennessee. We make several trips out to cheer on the Volunteers. We love the Knoxville area and the Volunteer Landing Marina. This location is absolutely perfect. We can walk to everything from Downtown to Neyland stadium. Not to mention Ruths Crists Steakhouse, which is steps from our boat.

Why they chose this property

We wanted something other than a boring hotel room or a small stuffy condo. The boat is awesome with the newly renovated interior and huge party decks. We can kayak off the back of the boat and paddle to Calhoun's on the river. Houseboat living is unique and charming. This boat has never been smoked on or in.

What makes this property unique

Water access, great location and very safe and secured marina with onsite staff. Full time on-site Marina Manager to assist you with anything you need. Secured and gated docks.
