As usual, Sheila and her team did not disappoint. We’ve typically stayed in one of the other locations but since they were unavailable, Sheila gave us this cute little house. The home was perfect for our needs and we highly recommend it to anyone as you visit the Knoxville area.
This property is located in a really quiet neighborhood… my family of 6 stayed very comfortable and was easily located to the things we were doing in Knoxville…. I would highly recommend this to anyone… we stayed 9 days and can certainly say our stay was a success…. Thanks again
Communication with the owner was great. Responds quick. The house had everything we needed. Some of the bedding may need to be replaced but other than that, no complaints!
We rented this property to attend a show at the shed in Maryville TN. It served its purpose for us, it is very simple but was clean. I will say the neighborhood is not the best I don’t think I would have wanted to stay there with just a group of girls or anything. I loved how simple the check in process was though.
Property was as advertised. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean. Bring your own hangers, only a few available. TV's in all rooms is a nice touch. Very nice sized fridge, but not hooked to water, so no ice. And no ice cube trays. So if you may need to buy ice. Location was perfect for us with a quick 2.5 mile drive to Gay & Market where all restaurants are.

Ok rating
Outside stairs were very steep, slanted forward so hard to carry things up stairs. Chain link fence in poor shape, many sharp edges. Many of the houses around the house were in very poor condition most did not mow their lawns, some were abandoned. There are chickens and roosters roaming around all the time and very noisy. The inside was fine, and clean. Awful neighborhood.

Bad Luck
This property was a last minute reservation. It suited our needs at the time. As mentioned in a prior review, the neighborhood is a little iffy in appearance, but we had no issues with anyone during our stay. The home was clean and looked like the pictures. Unfortunately the first night of our stay the Internet connection failed, leaving us with no TV or Wi-Fi for that night. Sheila contacted the providers and the next day a technician arrived to replace an incoming cable. Then on the last day of our stay the AC failed. The house was 83 degrees. Sheila and her maintenance man came to work on the system. After they left we took off to do some tubing only to return at around 9:30PM to a house that was still at 83 degrees. Knowing that we were leaving the next day anyway and that we would not be able to sleep in the house we decided to pack and leave. I texted Sheila and told her that we were leaving, we did not blame her for the bad luck we had with the home but that we would appreciate it if she refunded our last nights stay. I did not really expect a refund and I did not get one.
NO JUST DO NO STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! Crack house on the corner, not safe and completely disgusting.
This home should never be rented again! There are no smoke detectors or any other safety equipment that was listed as being there. The entire place was filthy! Microwave was dirty, dishwasher and potholders had food on them. Ice cream in the freezer. Living room carpet was disgusting, thick dust and dead bugs behind the couch. Bathroom had mold in the grout, dust and cobwebs. Master bedroom had bodily fluid stained sheets. Every other bed had pubic hair or clumps of hair in the bedding. One pillow had blood on the actual pillow. Bugs in the Queen room at the corner of bed between mattress and box springs. I had to wash bedding so my kids could sleep on the cleanest “bed” we could find, which happened to be the couch! There were clothes in the master bedroom closet. We also did not feel safe staying here. There is a house that is just a few houses down that had people coming in and out 24 hours a day. We were there for our daughters college graduation so naturally things were already booked up because of tons of graduations. However we did find somewhere to stay our last night. We packed up and got out of there while it was still daylight. The owner, nor Vrbo seem too concerned. Owner says we should have let her know when we arrived. Evidently it didn’t matter before we arrived. Even the yard is grown up. Needs to be cleaned out all the way around the fence line. The steps to the house are ridiculous! I’m sure there is much more. I have never been so disappointed in a home, owner or BRBO
A nice stay. Met our needs for the weekend. Communication with property manager was quick and accurate. There were some minor cosmetic things wrong with the property and a few light bulbs out but otherwise satisfactory. A slight musty smell.
Got to the place ant the sinking concrete steps along with the broken metal gate are a hazard. Dirty property with only one functioning TV. Drugs addicts across the street kept eyeing up and pointing at us, not a safe area. Left within two hours for a hotel. Don't know who was paid to give previous reviews, but this was a train wreck.

This home is located central to getting around Knoxville, from West Knoxville, to the Knoxville Convention Center, to downtown or maybe the Stadium and Cumberland Avenue. And then, the Great Smoky Mountains are a 30 minutes or so drive away too.
Across the river from UT Campus, but just off US 129 which intersects with I40 & I75.
