About this property

Shack by the Sea Middleton

3 bedroom beach shack with open plan kitchen, dining and loungeroom. After 20years it was time for the shack to have a refresh. Painted throughout, with new sofa, TV, bookcases, dinnerware, saucepans and frypans. New outdoor setting, perfect to sit and look out over the garden and nature reserve. Decking along front and back of property and landscaped to fit within the surrounding nature reserve. On the bike path between Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Great bakeries, restaurants and hotels 5minute drive.

The shack is fully equipped for families with games, books, toys, and boggie boards. The area out the back is grassed for children to play on and there is a picnic table at the back of the property to enjoy spectacular sunsets.

Please note tea towels, quilts/blankets and pillowcases are supplied. You will need to supply your own bedsheets and towels. If this is a concern please contact us to discuss.

Please note during peak period Dec/Jan full payment is required 5 weeks prior to commence of booking date. Cancellation 4 weeks prior to booking will incur 100% of total booking fee.

THE SHACK IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT TO SCHOOLIES - due to previous damage occurring by schoolies.

Locality
Middleton is a town in South Australia on the eastern end of the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is situated between the towns of Port Elliot and Goolwa. A holiday and tourist destination with a popular surf beach. Some Southern Right

Whales calve and mate in the waters off Middleton's beaches and can be viewed from Middleton Point or Bashams Beach during the whale watching season (June or July to October).

Shack located at the Goolwa end of Middleton - along the bike path

Beach access - can see path from the front deck, tuck your board under your arm and head for the beach - takes a whole 2 minutes.

No through road, close to Encounter Bike path that runs from Goolwa to Victor Harbour, nature reserve behind and sea out front.

Had a fantastic time at the house, its very family friendly, would be great if the decking had fencing for the little ones but overall would definitely stay again. The location is great and a very quiet neighbourhood, only a short walk to a wonderful beach.

A return visit for us and we will be back. The place has had a refresh since our last visit and it both looks great and works well. While the rooms are on the small side, it is one of the best equipped places we have stayed in. Lovely outdoor spaces and a great location 3 min walk from a magnificent beach. Great response from owners when we had a plumbing issue on New Year's Eve - they organised for it to be fixed within the hour.

We had a great stay. We loved the shack the beds were comfortable, the kids loved their bunk beds and room, it's in a great location, lots of board games and movies to pick from for the kids and adults. The outdoor seating was great and a nice spot to sit outside and relaxe.Clean and tidy. It was absolutely perfect. The host even put a Christmas tree up which was a great touch thank you Sue and partner you habe a great little shack

The shack was wonderful for a nice little get away down. The beach was literally a small walk across the road. I would definitely stay here again. The place was very clean. Smelt of fresh paint and a lot of the things like kitchenware are new. Appreciated the detailed information by the hosts and a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
